After the slew of negativity and blade breaking reviews I almost did not buy this. Glad I did, I got the nearly new unit at near half price. It is light, battery charges quickly and the power is real for grass, nettles, weeds and handles thin stems. Perfectly good for garden tidying, not suited for heavy duty undergrowth clearing. It is not too noisy and the plastic blades are easy to fit and last ok, I’m 40 minutes in and >75% of the blade is still there. Hit hard surfaces the blade will wear out quicker, use it as intended and it is way better that the old spool and line design.

Great tool. Thanks to the rotating head, it helps trim grass close to the fence, make a clean line next to slabs, and cut all weeds that grow between slabs.

Product arrived in broken box.Looks like a returned and repackaged item sold as new.

Had for over a year now, it is good for doing lawn edges and small jobs,prepare to use a blade per lawn edge,you learn not to go to close to hard surfaces and work your way in,unbranded replacement blade are quite cheap on other sites 100 for around £8 that'll last a couple of seasons, IT IS NOT intended to strip a garden, you need a petrol trimmer for that

Great machine. Easy to put together, works on most tall weeds and grass unless the weeds are cow parsley which is too thick. Also great for doing the lawn edge. One battery charge was enough to do the garden. Recommended.

Streaming long grass, gradually, it needs metal blades that don't break at the slightest touch of a stem of duckweed or blackthorn, breaks instantly, go thru blades about 10 at a time
