Use cases are endless for this little gem
Is this device any good? Of course, it is!. I have four of them, and they still work after five years. I have noticed two issues with it, but I would not downgrade the rating though. First, because this version is quite long, you can easily knock it and bend it slightly. In this situation, the case may fall apart. Superglue or tape will fix that. If you think that may be a problem for you, then search for "WiebeTech Programmable Mouse Jiggler MJ-3". It's from the same manufacturer. The second problem I have noticed is that my corporate Windows 7 laptop will not start when the Jiggler is plugged in during the boot process. On exactly the same machine but with Ubuntu, it works without issue. All in all, if you work from home and your corporate security policies drive you bananas, then this little device will make you happy.

MacOS - It works straight out of the box - don't expect to see the cursor moving on screen!
The jiggler works perfectly on Mac - things to note:1. When plugging in to a Mac for the first time, the OS may think it is a keyboard, just click the red X to close the prompt and the jiggler automatically works.2. Nothing seems to happen, hang on in there! Every 30 seconds or so, a green light flashes on the USB stick and the on screen curses moves a microscopic amount, enough to keep the 'awake' status active3. You can use the trackpad normally with the USB plugged in with no advises effects4. This keeps the status in Teams as available.Summary: does what it says on the description, good product.

This is simply an excellent product, that just does what it is supposed to do.You plug it in, it registers as a HID (Human Interface Device) (Mouse) and does it's funky stuff. You have absolute confidence it is working because, although the mouse movement is small, it is noticeable if you watch the pointer for 15 seconds.I have used it in all sorts of places, including on systems that I really shouldn't have done and in all cases it worked perfectly. I know that the Police use these to stop systems logging off when they are at a possible crime scene and it works for me.You might not use it very often, but when you need it - it is an absolute life-saver (and it gives you lots of cool hacking kudos even though you have less skillz than an idiot script kiddie).

Superb, keeps me “online” all day
For all you work from home people this is what you need to stop you going “away”. No setup needed, just plug it into a spare USB port and away it goes, your screensaver will never come on.

Really Great!
I can't praise this USB device highly enough. When my company upgraded my corporate laptop from Windows 7 to Windows 10, they also set the keyboard "auto lock" to 5 mins, without any ability for the employees to lengthen the timeout. I spent 2 frustrating weeks entering my password to unlock the machine when I was sat listening to conference calls. This device stops the laptop from locking, which frankly I don't want when I'm sat in my home office. Not cheap - but worth the money for me!

Worked great, but IT/Management are beginning to catch on to these!
Warning! As of May 2021 my IT department have started screening for these now and management are installing full efficiency monitoring software as a result, so seems the cat is out of the bag!Prior to this it gave nearly a year of dependable ‘Available’ status on Teams. A real pity, but still very useful if you just want to keep your laptop from going to sleep.Next model needs an upgrade with better stealth attributes to stay one step ahead of the corpo’s.
