This is good foam for what I need it for: Puppet Making. Unfortunately the thickness isn't as described, so it is a little thicker (0.75") than expected (0.5"). It has a firm density (for upholstery foam) so holds its shape and thickness for longer, before sagging. The look of it is as described. There is some discoloration along the edging, where it has clearly been exposed to natural light, but this doesn't affect its function to provide support. The foam arrives folded and wrapped in plastic. I did damage the foam slightly when opening the package with scissors (see photo with scissors), which is really easy to do when using a sharp object, so I recommend you just tear the packaging off. This foam is fit for purpose as chair/sofa/bed cushioning and would work well to soften any firm bench or give support to a slumping chair. I ordered the 80"×94" (203cm×238cm) and it's a good size and quantity for £26. Unfortunately the depth is not as expected, so future buyers beware.

this foam totally changed my wife's horrid sofa, It's now the sofa we all like to sit on ( and sleep on ) it's firm and very comfy. we are absolutely delighted with it. It was simply cut to shape with a bread knife

Very comfortable

I got this for a fursuit head base I was speedrunning. Unfortunately, the foam did not stick together at all with hot glue and I spent about 30-40 minutes attempting in vain to stick together two pieces that had once (with different foam) taken only 3 minutes. I won’t give this too negative a review, just in case there was something else in the works going wrong, but for now it will stay. I wouldn’t recommend if you’re planning on using hot glue on these. Otherwise, it would work a charm for padding/non-glueing tasks. Thank you for reading! :3

Excellent value for money 🤑💰

Arrived well packaged with no damage. I bought the 3 inch which is definitely thick enough for chair cushions. The blue colour is as depicted in the photos. It cuts easily with a serrated kitchen knife and makes minimal mess if cutting in a straight line. My only negative is that I didn’t want to cover the foam and therefore the cut edge becomes more important as it is exposed. For this reason I can only give it 4 stars as the cut edge is too rough to leave uncovered. If you intend to use this for padding, covered cushions, under mattresses then this is ideal. If you wish to use it for craft work or without covers be aware the cut edge is not too pretty especially if it is not a straight edge. I hoped to use this for exposed banana cushions for outdoor chairs but I will need to think of an alternative - and that will not be my husbands very helpful suggestion to cut it with a chainsaw!!!!
