Perfect for grandson
we have a teeny house, but my 5 year old grandson asks about the relationship of states and countries... this was perfect to show him where he lives, where the other grands live, where China is... and the oceans inbetween. Perfect size, takes up very little space on one of his bookshelves.

Good Value
Beautiful colors and easy to read although printing is small. This globe is plastic and assembles by snapping the 2 halves together forming the equator. This seam is not unattractive and easily assembled and added to the stand. The stand is very light weight and plastic and I subtracted a star for that. I am keeping this because for the price and colors and readability, it is perfect on my desk. The stand holds the globe easily as it is lightweight as well.

Got it for a Christmas gift
My daughter has been obsessed with geography and planet earth so I surprised her with this globe as a Christmas gift and she loves it. I used it as a 3D model on how the earth spins and orbits around the sun which was a fun lesson thanks to this globe. It arrived on time and in great condition. It arrived in a box which was perfect for wrapping and super easy to assemble. I can see her using this globe for many school activities or lessons in the future so it was well worth the money.

One of those looks great... in product images on its Amazon page. Reality? Made with thin plastic... all parts of it. About the thickness and strength of plastic forks/spoons--not great. The base looks sturdy, if it were solid. It's not, again: plastic forks/spoons thickness/strength--not great... at all. 3 stars is generous imho.

Poor quality, way over priced!
This product was flimsy and poorly made. I bought it to use in my school Library for students. The first time a child picked it up, it fell apart...I returned it that day and bought a really nice one at a resale shop!
