HDinterconnects 4 x F-connectors f-type plugs for wf65 Sky+ Sky HD Twin coax cable.

I was unlucky enough to buy a box for my satellite system which required these connectors. They simply screw onto the cable but are a nuisance as they become loose in no time at all and I am surprised they were ever designed for the job that they do. Intermittent connection is quite usual and they are not my favourite type of connector by any means. I think they are expensive too for what they are. However, if your unit is designed for them to be used then be patient when you are screwing then on to the coaxial cable. They make scart connectors look like luxury.

Too tight for my un-modified shotgun cables. Needed to cut slots in the outer sheath of my cables to allow ease of fitment. Better option than trying to make larger entry type connectors fit by adding copper tape though. As an electronics Engineer I have no problem with tweeking though.

It seems there are slightly different size interpretations for WF65 coax connectors. The cable spec for the outer sheath is 4.8mm, so with the screening folded back a '4.8mm' description connector is appropriate. However, it seems there are '4.2mm' versions and although the difference might seem negligible they are almost impossible to fit. Even with silicon grease and pliers the outer 'crinkles' when screwing on the connector.

These connectors arrived promptly and suitably packaged. I used them to repair a break in my existing dual Sky cable (white), and they worked perfectly, in conjunction with a pair of F-connector couplers which I bought from another seller. I was expecting the connectors to be difficult to join to the cable, but all I had to do was strip the end of the cable appropriately and screw the connector on - no soldering required!

What can I say, is what it is. took me a while to figure out how to put it on properly but hey....that may just be me. I used these to connect up my free sat box. Quick delivery.
