Take this review literally. An EXCELLENT piece of foam!
I only came here to say this is the first time I picked up a foam that stayed true to its description.Excellent quality. Easy to cut. High density. Firm. Seriously great value for the money. Easily fits any purpose/use. No smell. All round perfect functionality!I have no idea why this item gets anything lower than 5 stars in the reviews because this item is just perfect! And the major highlight here is how surprisingly low priced it is because I've bought similar items that were priced way much higher (for no justifiable reason) & their quality was just horrible. For anyone looking to buy replacement cushion, I highly recommend this!

Resilient mattress that doesn't sink in over time
I've had this mattress for quite a few months now, probably over a year. It hasn't sunken in or sagged and I rotate it every once in a great while. Probably twice since I've had it. I'm not finding any noticeable low spots, and it was the exact size that it is supposed to be. It doesn't seem to be retaining any smell, but I do have a mattress cover on it. It is soft and comfortable, but not too soft. Good quality mattress so far

Sofa Saver Extraordinaire!
I was home without any other humans and decided to take a nice long soak in the tub. While I was soaking, the puppy dog decided to attempt to nest on the loveseat, scratching and scratching at it until... the zipper on the cushion cover opened. And on he scratched, ripping up the batting, the foam, and the springs. The love seat, my husband opined, was trash. Not so! I bought two of theses, which were, together, too long for the cushion. Using a serrated bread knife (that is the key, serrated knife NOT scissors) we cut them to be just about an inch longer each side than the cushion cover. We used the knife to cut curves (the original cushion curved at the back corners), tracing the curve of the cushion onto the foam with a Sharpie. And then we shoved them into the cover. They wanted to pooch up like a pup tent in the middle, but we pushed the whole thing into place on the love seat, and my daughter sat on it. Everything found its spaces, wriggled into the corners and curves. Normally I would have bought one continuous piece at our local fabric store that just went under; you know the one. This two-piece cushion feels firmer than the original cushion, with its foam, batting, and springs, ever did. Much more comfortable than ever before. Though there are two cushions in there, it doesn't feel like there is a seam, so the sofa is not trash. and the puppy dog no longer has to feel shame.Get bigger than what you need because it should feel tight in the cushion cover, and cut with a serrated knife.100% recommend.

Firm and comfy
I ordered 2 of these to replace the cheap filling in my “big box” store cushions for my patio loveseat. The original cushions went flat right away and provided no comfort. These cushions fit right in the zippered covers and now the cushions are firm, supportive, and comfy.

Perfect for sofa refurb
Ordered for replacement sofa cushions. Exact fit. Comfortable seating - supportive but not hard. Sofa looks new again. So happy with purchase.

Measure twice cut once.
I make a tractor seat with this product. Easy to cut and shape. Thickness was perfect. Quality was great. Fit great on the backing. Price was great. The foam didn’t smell bad.

Problem solved. No more flattened cushions.
This foam worked extremely well in re- stuffing some couch cushions that got rather compressed by continual use. The size matched my cushions perfectly. It was very easy to just stuff the new foam inside the covers. At first, the newly stuffed cushions seemed a little hard and overstuffed but after using them a while, they feel normal. This was a nice solution for my noticeably flattened cushions.

Shrink Wrapped To Death In Noxious Plastic And Time Consuming To Open
08/28/25: It took forever for the smell to dissipate. Probably around 15 days or so. By that time I had stopped using it because it was too thick. Now considering it for my sofa because in doesn't get smaller under use so should be a good fix for my poor quality sofa that no longer works well. If that's the case then I'll risk the unwrap process and noxious fumes again for another one. If I do then I'll report back on the results though it needs to be a bit wider to do the job right.07/28/25: Just arrived and there are a few things you should know before you buy. I measured my recliner seat to make sure this will fit and it does but there are other issues here.1. 5" is taller than it sounds. My recliner seat sinks in and it causes my sciatica to flare badly so I bought this for the depth and width dimensions and the price. The 5" is great for relieving the pain but now it causes other issues for me unless it compresses a bit until I can get my new recliner. I have knee and hip problems, and the hips will be fine but my knees not so much.2. Stinky to the nth degree. And the smell is due to the noxious plastic they shrink wrap it in that covers every inch of it in the tightly wound roll they ship.3. If you have any strength issues then this will be a fun unwrap job for you. No sharp objects, eh? Then how are you supposed to get the freaking shrink wrap off??? I used sharp implements and it still took me 10 minutes of struggling and being forced to smell the horrible fumes. Those are not healthy fumes, I can guarantee you that.My rating is based on the horrible, noxious unwrapping experience and I have adjusted it up 1 star now the fumes are gone.
