KAVU Rope Sling - Compact Lightweight Crossbody Bag

This is my second purchase. Love how much stuff fits in it, my phone fits in the front packet, great material, Brite colors, super comfortable, I use it to the front,great for travel, the style is perfect, better than backpack for me. Durable, my first bag lated yrs, the only thing is the velcro on one of the pocket was all like furry by closing and opening threw the year's. Besides that the bag can still be used, but I preferred buying another one. A bit pricey, but it's good quality.

I love Kavu sling bags. I own four of them. They are sturdy, easy to clean, easy to wear, and hold a LOT. I’m always on the lookout for a new pattern . I prefer the canvas bags. The other material they use is loud, for lack of a better word. I’ve only had one bag break on me. Well the zipper failed. I think it was my fault though because I over stuffed it regularly. There is plenty of room for your phone, keys, wallet, snacks, sunglasses, makeup and whatever you want to put in the other pockets.

I love these bags and bought this one upon seeing my friend wear one. This bag is pretty roomy, and would be a great every day bag or day-hike bag. I love the Spruce color. I also like that this version of Spruce did not have the white zipper. (There's one out there that does, and it makes it look cheap.) The side buckle on the strap is a really nice feature. I love that you can fully adust it to your body and put it on without slining it over your head. It makes it easier to put on while wearing big coats too! It has lots of zips and pockets, although the front velcro pocket is not quite big enough for a smart phone (I have the iphone8 with a lifeproof case on it.) The Front zipper pocket is plenty big enough for a phone, but I just prefer quicker access. It's great for carrying other items like chapstick and quick acess items, too. I actually prefer the Kavu Paxton style pack to this bag, because I like the the outer pocket configuration better. There are less pockets on the Paxton backpack. The inner pockets are very similar in both (one big flat zip compartment.) It is a slightly smaller tear drop shaped bag. I ended up going with a Paxton bag (In Snow Timber- so I still got a bit of Spruce coloring!) over this bag, but it's still a very nice, well made bag. I am petite, so the smaller Paxton bag just looks better on me.

Got this for vacations when we take short day hikes and this bag is perfect! So cute, light weight, well made, and fits everything I need! Love the little pockets on the front. Perfect for putting cellphone, keys, wallet, etc for easy access.

At first I was skeptical because of the size, but once I received it my mind changed completely. This bag is so well made, the zippers look sturdy as well. This is a good little backpack if you are looking to be carrying less stuff than you normally would since I have a bad habit of carrying too much stuff. The bag is also lightweight and I believe part of the reason for that is the strap made of rope. I'd say the size of this bag for the big pouch can fit a five star notebook. I also love the color of this brand since they offer a lot of colors and I'm a big fan of tie dye. I plan on using this bag for college as a main backpack and being able to extend the straps over my violin and/or guitar while walking around the huge campus. If you are thinking the price of this bag is expensive, I'd say the price is worth it since it's a unique shaped bag and I wanted something like this so in case someone stole my backpack it would be easier to identify.

I bought this for our weeklong trip to New York. This was the second one I purchased, after returning the first one due to the color (coral) being very different from the picture shown. The return was very easy and the second backpack color (taupe) came very true to advertised. This backpack was great as a small carry on, it could carry my 24oz metal water bottle, a jacket or a sweater, my phone and wallet, headphones, a power bank, an extra pair of glasses, a Nintendo switch, a medium sized book, and it still had room. It was great for walking around the city and was easy to take on and off which came in handy during rush hour on the subway. We got tons of compliments from people about the bag’s look and the rope strap. We didn’t have any problem taking it in with us to Radio City Music Hall or the August Wilson Theater and the bag fit well underneath the small seats. I am taking away one star because some of the color of the rope strap did rub off on my white shirt, but it was pretty faint and did come out in the wash. Overall a great backpack that is perfect for exploring a big city and a breeze to travel with.

This bag is pleasingly colored and has all the zippers and compartments a parent (or grandparent, etc.) could want. It is a very capacious bag and could carry lots of baby gear. Unfortunately I didn't notice that it was vinyl when I ordered it. And, as such, it doesn't meet my needs. I just needed a soft, large crossbody bag for travel. My bad! Even more my bad: we traveled, without the bag of course, and then had a death in the family and so by the time I got back to the computer I was one day past the return date. So it's mine. Sigh! Still, it is a terrific bag and I wholeheartedly recommend it to the folks for whom it was designed.

This bag is bigger than it looks. It distributes the weight of the products I carry and is super easy on my back. It’s super cute and very functional.
