Kustom Canz 2K Clear Coat - 13.5oz Aerosol Can

Surprisingly amazing paint in a stupidly convenient and efficient spray can. I had one guitar to work on, and I did NOT want to break out the gear, get it perfect and mix/spray/clean/mix/spray/clean for every coat. Sealer, metallic base, candy, clear...no thanks. With the Kustom Color clear and the rest of the line, it was so much simpler and less time involved. Actually, no time involved. Pop the cap, slide on the ring, pull and turn. A few minutes to shake, and you're off to the races. Clear went on so easy it was scary. Turn the nozzle for horizontal or vertical fan, depending on how you want to make your passes. I literally soaked this body with 3-4 passes (lightly, but not so lightly) overlapping. It was a 93deg day with real close to 60% humidity, and I was so happy with the results. I got a bit of haze at first, because of the thickness as well as the humidity, but it disappeared before it was time to move it back indoors an hour later. Flawless, near zero orange peel that disappeared after 48hrs. While it still 'felt' sticky at 24hrs, it was not. At 48hrs now, and its ready to assemble. Fortunately, it's 2 more days before that'll happen, so there should be no issues sitting on a towel while the pieces are fitted back in. It ain't cheap, as the good stuff usually isn't, but the time you save over the whole clean/mix/spray/clean....worth every penny. I'm seriously stoked with the results.

Can’t say enough good things about their 2K Aerosol clear coat, I’ve used it for many projects, it dried Clear and has a great shine straight out of the can, The spray quality is amazing, it lays out super smooth and builds up to a nice thickness after 2-3 coats, I’ve Sprayed Guitars, Headlights, small projects, Valve Covers and Car emblems, it just works incredibly well. You’ll have to active the can which is super simple, Pop the cap off the bottom, Insert the little metal ring into the pull tab and Pull the tab all the way out, I generally rotate the can until I feel no more resistance from the interior bladder. I Normally give it about a week before I cut and buff it, it shines up amazing!!!
