Just what I needed
Great item. Not too loud, pretty quiet and my dog wasn’t bothered about them to much. easy to use, plenty of different lengths to use too! Lasted for approx 1-2 hours before the battery died. my grooming skills need improvement though lol!

Well Worth Buying
These clippers are very good. Reasonably quiet, easy to use, come with quick start easy instructions and do a really good job. I'd never used electric clippers before and was a little nervous of making my Cockapoo look like a punk rocker with a Mohican but, after watching a few YouTube videos my first attempt at grooming turned out very well. They come with different length guards so I'd suggest if you're new to clippers start off cautiously and use the longer guards to begin with and work down until you find the one that gives the desired fur length. My 6 month old pup got used to them quickly. If you're dog is on the nervous side then maybe introduce them slowly by having them running near to your dog so they get used to the sound they make and the slight vibration. The battery holds its charge very well. I'm so pleased with them I've recommended them to my friend who is currently paying £50 every few months to have her Cockapoo groomed at a doggy salon.

Good product for thinner coats.
I have 2 cockerpoo’s, one with really curly hair (Jasper) and one will mildly wavy (Lily) and unfortunately fhe razor didn’t cut through Jasper’s hair at all, the scissors on the other hand work wonders, so sharp and easy to hold. they glided through his hair for a really easy cut. I cannot speak for the battery life of the razor as I didn’t use it much but it was easy to assemble, use and clean. The comb that comes with it all it really weighty and expensive feeling, really good quality and good for getting a grip on hair before cutting! Overall, a good product for thinner coated dogs, maybe not thicker coated!

Amazing especially for the price
I’d been struggling to get a grooming appointment for my mini poodle and he had long fur and a few matts.I’ve used cheap clippers before and had nightmare experiences where they can’t cut anything and constantly get jammed and the dog looks like he’s just been tortured afterwards.I couldn’t find my old terrible clippers so chanced it on these after seeing the good reviews, and they’ve blown me away. No issue cutting through my dogs thick curly fur, had to pause a few times to remove fur blockages in the guard but then it was straight back to business. With the guard off, I even managed to shave his face perfectly short and smooth (see photo, before and after), which I never expected to be able to do for an item in this price range. It also came with some scissors and a comb, both fully metal, very strong and good quality, especially the scissors which I used to trim some areas and they cut through the fur like butter. Really pleased with this purchase and would recommend to everyone!

The clippers worked really well, I'm impressed
I decided to try these, because at the price if they weren't very good it wasn't the end of the world. I used them yesterday for the first time to give my working cocker spaniel a 'working' hot weather cut. They totally outperformed my expectations. They were quieter than expected, cut through the hair effortlessly and the ability to go from .8mm to 2mm length with the rotating bezel is an excellent extra. The clipper guards are supplied, but I didn't and won't use them. The supplied scissors were also decent, sharp with a squared off end for safety. The clipper is also cordless, which made life so much easier. Overall, they are excellent, not 400 quid Heinigers, but at this price point who cares. They are cheaper than the cost of one cut at the doggy salon and I have 2 working cocker spaniels who require a cut every 6 to 8 weeks. Why did you choose this product over others?:Price point and decent reviews

First time grooming my dogs
I thought long and hard about getting clippers for my dogs as I was worried I would do a terrible job, but at £55 each every 6-8 week, I thought I’d give it a go. I went with this one for the lower noise level, as my rehomed dog is scared of the handheld vacuum, and as a beginner I didn’t want to spend too much money if self-grooming wasn’t for me. I found the clippers a nice size and weight to hold, the plastic guards clicked on and off no problem, make sure you hear the ‘click’ when you attach or it will fall off. My rehomed dog skittered off the first couple of times I showed her the clippers and turned it on, but my other dog, who I have to hoover around, didn’t mind it at all. Clipping-wise, the first pass was not always enough I had to pass 3-4 times until there was no more to cut, on the legs it seemed harder to ‘gather’ the hair into the guard and take some off, had to pass several times. But it could be my technique as I was doing it for the first time, and since it was my first try I ran out charge and had to work off of the mains. As my dog’s fur has a slight curl (Maltese) I did find the clipper did catch in places and not glide through smoothly, he had been brushed beforehand, and I had to take off the guard to clean the blade several times as hair was caught inside. He got bored of standing and laid on his side whilst I tried to finish him off, so he definitely was not bothered by the sound. My second dog has straighter fine hair (Maltese) it was much easier to glide through but still clogged up the blade so I did have to clean it a few times. She got more tolerant of the clippers but would still try to use her head to butt it away, or sit down, turnaround etc. I did do both dogs, an hour each, but I’m already thinking I need to upgrade my clippers especially for the one with curlier fur, as it would probably cut smoother and quicker. Not bad to use for a beginner like me, gave me confidence to try again, and good for in-between professional grooming appointments, especially in hot weather when you can’t always get an appointment quickly. But I don’t think it will be as effective for thicker curlier coats. As I said I am thinking to upgrade already after my first attempt on relatively straight fine hair, but good to have especially if she will tolerate this one’s sound/vibration level.
