Impressive - sounds great, great price and is very aesthetic
Brilliant microphone, especially for the price. I originally bought it for my son and even his friends commented on how much better his sound quality is when he's gaming online. Previously, he had a Blue Yeti which was bought second hand for £70, and despite this being a much cheaper alternative, it actually looks nicer on the desk and the sound quality is noticeably clearer. The cable is long enough to keep the desk tidy and so it can be used from anywhere, there's a handy little tap-to-mute function on it too which is a nice touch and the customisable lighting fits perfectly with his set up. It also came with a solid stand and a good quality pop filter which is impressive for the price, so you do not need an additional boom arm. If you're after a budget-friendly mic that not only looks premium and performs like a high-end option, this is it. You can use it for streaming, chatting with friends or just a casual gaming session.

Fantastic Microphone!
Wow, I am very impressed with the Fifine AM8 microphone! From the moment I started using it, the audio quality has been nothing short of exceptional, especially for the price. The build quality is very good - sleek and sturdy, making it easy to handle and use. Setting it up was a breeze; it seamlessly connected to my PC via USB C meaning it was essentially plug and play. It also has XLR connection if this is what you are looking to connect via. The price-to-performance ratio is unbeatable. The AM8 offers such quality results without costing a fortune. I would highly recommend this for anyone in the market for a microphone. Small touches like being able to mount to pretty much any mic arm, the changeable RGB and the touch to mute button make this mic feel a lot more expensive than it actually is. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my this microphone. I have only been using it for two days, but people on my chat and work calls have commented that how clear I sound. I have recommended it to anyone who has commented! I hope this helps :)

A premium mic for a budget price - You won't be disappointed
I have been using this mic for the last month on a daily basis for both work and play and I think Fifine have done very well to produce a product which packs a great punch! Build and Appearance The mic is solidly built so it will be long-lasting (which is what you want in tech products). I went for the black option as it suits my aesthetic but other colours are available including pink and white. Features RGB - It boasts a range of RGB functions if you like additional lighting, however there is the option of turning off completely by long-pressing the dedicated RGB button. Connectivity - There is dual connection available, the mic can be connected by USB as well as XLR cables. The USB connectivity can either be USB C or USB A, the included cable has an adapter that allows you to choose how you'd like to connect. Mute Button - There is a very handy mute button on the mic itself which allows for easy muting. It flashes red when the mic is muted and stays green when the mic is active so you know if you are live or not. Volume Controls - There are volume and headset volume controls on the mic which helps with controlling your audio output - this is ideal if you're streaming! Actual Use This has been my mic of choice for the last month. I have liked the desk presence of this mic as it is a great size and the sound quality is great - I have actually received some great feedback from colleagues who have said that the mic quality is very crisp and clear. I think if you are a streamer you will definitely make so much use out of this mic and will enjoy using it. This has now replaced my previous mic and I'll continue to use this going forward unless Fifine release an upgraded version!

Awesome AUDIO Quality for PRICE
If you're on the hunt for a budget-friendly microphone that punches above its weight, then buckle up because the Fifine AM8 could be the hidden gem you've been searching for. Let's dive into why this microphone might just be your new best friend in audio recording. Unboxing and First Impressions: Straight out of the box, the AM8 is a neat little package that's bound to raise eyebrows, especially when you peek at the price tag! It comes with a solid stand, featuring a standard 3/8-inch screw, and a handy 2M USB C to USB A cable. The mic itself is lightweight with a plastic body, but don't be fooled – it sits on a weighty metal stand. The real treat? An ultra-soft flocking windscreen that feels delightfully plush. Design and Build: Fifine keeps it simple and functional with the AM8. The robust stand is great, but for the optimal podcast sound, you'll want to get it closer – about 2-3 inches from your mouth. A boom arm (and Fifine has a great one) might be a worthy addition for achieving that warm, intimate audio. Connectivity and Features: Here's where the AM8 shines. Offering both USB-C and XLR connections, it caters to beginners and those looking to step up their game. But, keep in mind, the Gain and volume controls are only operational via USB. With XLR, you'll need a mixer or interface for these functions. RGB Functionality: For those who love a bit of flair, the integrated RGB lighting in three modes adds a cool aesthetic touch to your setup – but this fun feature is a USB-only party. Audio Quality: Now, for the heart of the matter – sound. The AM8 impresses with clear, crisp audio. When connected with XLR to a mixer it is more than a match with more expensive mics like the Rode Podmic, for entry-level use, it's a solid performer. User Experience: Setup is super easy – plug in, and you're good to go. The zero-lag headphone monitoring is a big win, ensuring smooth, real-time audio feedback. Cons: It's not without its quirks, though. The buttons, especially the mute button, are a tad sensitive. Accidental presses happened more than I'd like to admit. And while its lightweight design is great for some, it might feel a bit too flimsy for others used to heavier mics. You can't use with heavy-duty boom mic arm - as it is too light. Conclusion: The Fifine AM8 is a standout choice in the budget microphone market. Perfect for audio newbies or those on a tight budget, it offers a fantastic mix of quality, functionality, and affordability. For around £50, you get audio performance that competes with much pricier models. Fifine knows their game in delivering budget-friendly gear with a premium feel. And I'm seriously considering swapping my £100+ Rode PodMic for this – it's that impressive.
