My daughter loves these. We use them for reinforcement during phonics and spelling practice for homeschool. They have really helped her with remembering and visualizing blends and digraphs, as well as "chunking" up her words into smaller pieces in order to spell them correctly. She can also self-correct easily with these by just switching the letter blocks around or adding/removing blocks.

Ordered these to help my son with phonics and he loves it!

Oh my gosh! These reading rods are heaven sent! I am homeschooling my 2nd grader and he was recently diagnosed with dyslexia. I have tried everything suggested, colored filters, translation pens, kinetic sand, playdough. They've all worked to a point, but not effectively. Since starting the school year in Aug until today, he has not been able to associate the letters with their sound when reading words. I'll read his spelling words one at a time and he can spell it out with the reading rods, then write them on the test. Today was our first day using them, but Ive seen such a drastic difference, I see him trying to decode the words now. Once he hears it, he can see the letters, then writes it, rather that becoming so frustrated because he cant remember with visualizing. Ive done months and months of research on teaching reading and spelling to a child with dyslexia, everything pointed to the Orton-Gillingham method (multisensory) and these reading rods did the trick! They provide touch and sight simultaneously after he hears the words. I also love how they're color coated. It makes so easy for him to decipher between vowel and consonants. I wish I would have found these before the $50 translation pen. These far exceeded 5 stars!!!!

These are the perfect manipulative for tactile learners!!!! Excellent value for excellent well made product. This had made my child excited about reading because they love building with blocks/legos… and these have that builder feel to it.

I'd been using Number Blocks with my granddaughter. She loves those things! We're working on reading also, so this seemed like a natural complement. These are great for reviewing sounds and working on reading and spelling.

Bonjour Un jeu sympa qui permet de s'amuser en construisant des mots en anglais. On se prend vite au jeu en essayant de faire des mots de plus en plus longs. Ça permet d'apprendre en s'amusant.
