I purchased this item to use postpartum and it was an essential for my hospital bag, however my waters broke early (35wks) and I had to be hospitalised and monitored, luckily I had purchased this and had it in my hospital bag because the maternity pads supplied my the hospital could not hold the amniotic fluid that was leaking from me for a week before I finally went into labour (36wks). This pad was the only thing that saved me from being constantly wet and saturated with amniotic fluid after my waters broke and I continue to leak until baby was born. It’s great quality for the price, comfortable it’s not too bulky and it holds fluids/blood well, very absorbent and coverage is excellent (covered front and back without issue). After I gave birth I used is only for a few days postpartum because I wasn’t bleeding a lot it wasn’t necessary to wear this but it saved me from unnecessary hassle and uncomfortable wear of other maternity pads when my waters broke because this was absorbent I never leaks or saturation my underwear. Only thing I’d say is it’s not very sticky, it didn’t really stick to my underwear but it was secure enough due to it being big enough and long enough to cover front and back once placed in underwear and pulled up it remained in place so for that I’d give it 9/10.

Excellent exactly what I needed. Have very heavy periods and normal sanitary pads just aren't cutting it so I never feel well protected from leaks. These are large, they cover, back, front and sides great, so well protected. They are thick but not bulky at all sit flat and have great adhesion. Super soft, super absorbent, comfortable and no odour. I will be using these from now on. Well priced, excellent quality. Highly recommend.

Perfect size and useful I take a good use of them after giving birth and even on normal periods

Diese Wochenbetteinlagen sind super praktisch! Sie sind viel dünner als diese gewöhnlichen Vorlagen, die man im Krankenhaus bekommt und durch ihre ergonomische Form sind sie viel angenehmer zu tragen! In den ersten 1 bis 2 Tagen müssen die Einlagen öfters gewechselt werden, aber das müssen die normalen Vorlagen natürlich auch - und die sind einfach nicht breit genug, um Auslaufen sicher zu verhindern. Die Abena Einlagen sind vorne und hinten dagegen schön breit und haben eine Rückseite mit Klebestreifen, sodass man sie besser im Höschen fixieren kann. Mein Tipp: kauft euch schon fürs Krankenhaus diese Einlagen hier und verwendet sie in einem Wochenbetthöschen mit Beinausschnitt wie bei Panties. Das war für mich als Mama von 2 Kindern am gemütlichsten und am auslaufsichersten. Eine Packung der Einlagen reicht übrigens auch gut aus, denn nach den ersten Tagen, an denen der Wochenfluss noch sehr stark ist, wird er zusehends immer weniger und dann reichen auch zum Beispiel Binden für die Periode.

Muy buen producto. Compre un paquete para después del parto utilice pocos pero todos absorbieron muy bien y me sentí segura con ellos en todo momento. Lo recomiendo mucho para los primeros sangrados después del parto. Con un paquete que compren es suficiente.
