Solid grip, great feel in the hand, tight connection to the cage, versatile connection points for accessories, and a great price. I am becoming such a fan of Neewer products. I have used so many camera accessories proffesionally from redrock micro, wooden camera, zacuto, but gotta go budget for personal gear and I love what Neewer has to offer. This grip feels as good as anything else much more expensive. If you are on a budget or buying the gear yourself (not your company paying for it) you cannot go wrong with Neewer. I have done paid shoots with this and didn't notice anything a higher end brand did better. This grip isn't a compromise, it's a smart decision.

Perfect for little cages. Works great

I had searched for alternatives to having pressing the record button and I almost went with the handle grips until I saw this. What a joy it is to have stable footage all the way to the end of the clip. The build quality is amazing and the handle is comfortable with holes to run your cables through. My cinema rig is almost complete!

First off, this is a very comfortable top handle that doesn't need to sacrifice mounting points for the balance. I really enjoy how quick I can get it on and off with the thumbscrew. This comes at a cost though. Even cranking it down to the point I worry I may break the grip area, the thumbscrew works itself a lil loose in 10-15 minutes, requiring an additional crank. The CA007 with a regular ARRI locator screw may be a better choice if this will frustrate you. You have two options for mounting an external monitor at the front. ARRI or cold shoe. If you have a wireless receiver you could adapt the ARRI to another front cold shoe and have both a monitor and excellent line-of-sight for wireless audio.

The NEEWER Top Handle and NATO Rail Kit have significantly elevated my camera rigging experience. Me ha parecido un producto de una calidad más que buena a un precio razonable. Es robusto y bien acabado, agradable al tacto. Aspecto profesional. Se adapta bien a la jaula Neewer CA077 y es muy necesaria para hacer ciertos tipos de planos y para comodidad de manejo. Queda perfectamente sujeta. La multitud de agujeros con rosca de 3/8" o 1/4" son un plus para montar cualquier accesorio. De momento muy contento con la compra y ahora hay que ver que tal resultado da con el paso del tiempo.

ممتاز للكاميرات الثقيلة او السينمائية لكن لو كنت تصور بكاميرا هايبرد وليست سيمنائية انصحك ان تأخذ نسخة الناتو وليس ARRI لانه صعب الفك والتركيب بجد ولكن الجودة والسيليكون المزود به ممتاز ولا يتقشر او يذوب الصمغ في الحرارة المرتفعة او الامساك المطول بيد عرقة

I got a Smallrig cage for my GH5 Mark 2 and I've had 3 top handles, this is my favourite. I got the camera for a documentary about Graffiti/StreetArt, however most of my time is spent using the camera for photography and I don't need the top handle for that - I usually use the EVF and a top handle pokes me in the eye! This means I wanted a top handle I could easily remove. The other 2 top handles I used were either screwed on, or used a ARRI locator - they were brilliant but a bit of a faff to remove/install when I wanted to switch between photo/video mode. That's where this really impresses, the handle is attached using a Nato rail clamp, so all you need do is turn the lever and you can slide the handle on/off. My Camera cage doesn't have a nato rail at the top, but this handle comes with a nato attachment which I leave permanently attached to the cage. It's pretty low profile so it's no problem to leave it screwed on, and it means I can very quickly clip my top handle to the cage. The nato rail has pins either side so even if you were to accidentally unlock the lever, the handle would move to the end of the short rail but it would not come off. This represents great value, instead of buying a separate handle and nato rail - you get both, it comes with the hex wrench too to attached the nato rail. The handle is very comfortable to hold, it has a soft, rubbery grip on the inside so it is easy to grip and isn't cold in winter!! It also has several cold shoe mounts, ARRI and various screw hole sizes for attachments. My only complaint is that the white text/graphics on top don't look as "clean" as a plain black design, but it's such a small thing it's barely worth mentioning, and some people might find it useful anyway! In a nutshell: A cheaper alternative to the Smallrig handles, but Neweer is an excellent brand and this top handle is a premium item which may well last me for decades! That fact that it comes with a Nato attachment is fantastic.
