This cone was a lifesaver after our pup had her spay surgery! It was large enough that she wasn’t able to reach her incision but not too large that she could still groom herself. She got used to it very quickly and was able to sleep with ease. It stayed inflated for the full two weeks she needed to wear it and would stay inflated longer if she needed to wear it longer. AND on the plus side - she looked adorable! 18lb pup and it fit well. Had to pull it snug but it was the right size. MUCH better than the cone that the vet provides. We crate her when we are away from the house and she was able to sleep comfortably in her crate with the inflatable cone on. Still plenty of comfortability for our pup to enjoy her favorite bones and treats.

Great product! We measured our puppy's neck before scheduling for his neuter surgery. The watermelon dog cone was on hand to use when we took him home..so much better and much more comfortable than the huge cone of shame they provided. He was able to eat, sleep, walk and do his potty with it as if it wasn't there yet it kept him from reaching his stitches. All while he looked adorable and fashionable. We blew the cone up once and it held air for the whole week. A great value for the price. We highly recommend for dogs or cats if they need for surgery!!

Bought a size probably too big but I didn’t measure and it was the one on sale. Lol Anyways he hasn’t complain about it and I looped it with his collar and that made it stay. Initially I put it in by itself and he took his head right out no problem. He hasn’t tried to lick his parts yet so I don’t know if he can reach them.

Great for abdominal protection, but not ideal for leg surgeries or long-legged dogs I purchased both the small and medium sizes of this inflatable e-collar, and while it has some great features, it’s not perfect for all situations. Pros: The collar is very cute and works well to prevent licking on areas like the abdomen after a neuter surgery. The quality seems solid, and it does the job in certain situations. Cons: If you have a dog with long legs or one recovering from leg surgery (like dew claw removal), the collar may not be wide enough to stop them from reaching their paws. This makes it less effective for such cases. The biggest issue for me is the excess Velcro. If you need to tighten the collar for a dog that falls between sizes (like my dog, who’s between small and medium), there’s way too much excess. It’s easy for another dog to pull it off, and the collar can slip off very easily. Overall, I think this is a good collar for certain types of recovery (mainly for abdominal or neuter protection), but it falls short when it comes to leg injuries or securing it well on dogs that need it tightly fitted. It would be ideal if there was a better way to secure the collar without the excess Velcro.

This thing is amazing. Our dog had a reaction to food and was chewing her fur off in one spot. As it healed she needed a cone. Except the cone of shame is depressing for dogs. So I tried this. Not only does it work, it is comfortable for her and I honestly think she likes being able to use it as a pillow. I measured her neck and bought the size that fits max her neck size. My thinking was if I went larger she might be able to pull it off. I think her neck is 14 inches and I purchased the 15 inch max. It works perfectly. Definitely better than the cone of shame, plus she can go up the stairs and jump on the sofa. Washable, comfortable and easy to attach to collar. She is not a large dog either. She weighs about 35 pounds. Hope this helps anyone on the fence about this product. Highly recommend.

best soft dog cone!! I have a 20 lb cavapoo who wears this every time she's in heat and it's the best one we've found by far. She can still lay comfortably and not be choked out when she's on her stomach. Doesn't slip off either and has nice straps to put their collar on the inside!

This is super cute, but not very sturdy on your pet after a surgery.

Worked great for our Male lab. He had ripped the traditional head cones off and also shredded the boxer/t-shirt method so this was our last attempt at preventing licking after surgery . Not only did it work well , he didn’t seem to mind it either . I do think it runs a little small so if the neck is on the border for circumference then I would size up. We ordered the large and it was almost too small. He weighs 70 pounds and has a neck measurement of 19 inches. It’s a nice plastic inflatable with cover and appears pretty thick and has held up well .

This is so adorable. We used it on my mini poodle and she was able to see better than with a cone, it kept her from licking her hot spots.
