Great Little Camera for Home Peace of Mind
I’ve been using the Ring Indoor Cam (2nd Gen, 2023 release, White) for a few weeks, and it’s been a fantastic addition to my home setup. Setting it up was a breeze—plugged it in, followed the Ring app’s step-by-step guide, and had it running in under 10 minutes. The compact design (about 3.8 inches tall) fits perfectly on my shelf, and the adjustable mount lets me angle it just right to cover my living room. It’s sleek and blends in without screaming “security camera.”The 1080p HD video is crisp and clear during the day, with vibrant colors. The color night vision is a nice upgrade from the first gen—images are decent in low light, though black-and-white night mode is sharper if it’s really dark. Motion alerts pop up instantly on my phone, and I love that I can tweak the motion zones to avoid false triggers from my ceiling fan. The two-way talk is loud and clear, perfect for checking in on my dog or startling the cat off the counter. It works seamlessly with my Alexa Echo Show, letting me pull up the live feed with a voice command. The manual privacy cover is a standout feature—just swivel it over the lens, and both the camera and mic shut off, which feels way more secure than just trusting software. The only downside is you need a Ring Protect subscription (starts at $3.99/month) to save or review videos, which adds up, but the basic plan’s 180-day storage is worth it for me. I did notice occasional Wi-Fi drops, but a quick refresh in the app fixes it—might just be my network. For $59.99, it’s a solid deal for reliable indoor monitoring, especially if you’re already in the Ring or Alexa ecosystem. If you want 2K video or don’t use Ring, you might look at something like the Eufy E220, but this cam’s simplicity and privacy features make it a winner for me. Highly recommend for keeping tabs on your home or pets

Compact, Clear, and Super Easy to Use!
’m really impressed with the newest model of the Ring Indoor Cam! Setup took less than 5 minutes using the Ring app, and the video quality is excellent—crisp 1080p resolution with clear night vision. The two-way audio is also surprisingly clear, and I love being able to check in on my pets while I’m away. The updated design is sleek and compact, so it blends in well on a shelf or mounted on the wall. Motion detection is fast and accurate, and I like being able to customize motion zones to avoid false alerts. It works seamlessly with my other Ring devices and Alexa. For the price, it’s a fantastic value for anyone looking to add security or just keep an eye on things indoors. Highly recommend!

Great to feel safe!!!!
I love my ring cameras. I feel safe with them. I have a total of four around my house and outside my house. They are clear enough that I am able to tell different cats that come around my house, as I use them to trap the cats in my neighborhood to get them fixed. The quality of the actual cameras is pretty good, and the design is functional. There does not seem to be much lag time though, sometimes the notifications can get overwhelming but you can always change the settings in the app.

Great to be able to see what goes on when you are not home or sleeping!
Great to have in the house if you want to keep an eye on a loved one or a pet. I have one at my front window for notifications when someone comes to my home. I also bought one to have inside to keep an eye on two kittens we are fostering. Excellent way to feel secure when you are not at home. I chose to purchase the Ring monitoring so I can keep the videos if needed. I also like the fact that my son gets notified as well when something makes the camera ting. The video is clear day and night. It is so detailed it was picking up my rose bush when the wind was blowing, a little tweak and that was fixed. I am happy with the Ring products, would recommend.

Not disappointed anymore.
Update #2: I left the camera unplugged for a few days and retried the reset button and it works. It’s been working well. Still can’t get one of them to stop recording the reflection of my curtains so I will maintain my original 4 stars. All in all…great product! Highly recommend.Update: Here's an updated review based on recent experience with the Ring indoor camera. I went down 4 stars to 2 stars because of this issue.I'm extremely disappointed with one of my Ring indoor camera, which stopped working after just over a month of use. Despite following troubleshooting steps, the camera refuses to turn on - the blue light doesn't illuminate, and the reset button has no effect. I've tried switching power cords, but nothing seems to work. The power cord for that specific camera works with the other devices and I also tried a power cord from one of the other devices on this broken one and it doesn’t work so I think it’s the device itself. The most frustrating part is that the issue occurred after the return window had closed, leaving me with a product that simply doesn't function. Given the premium price point, I expect a certain level of quality and durability, which this camera failed to deliver. If you're considering purchasing a Ring indoor camera, be aware that you might not get the reliability you're paying for. Perhaps newer models have addressed the issues I've faced, but as it stands, I'd advise caution. If Ring support responds or provides a resolution, I'll be happy to update this review further. For now, I'm left with a non-functional product and limited options.Original review: As a single woman I needed something that was easy to install without having someone come charge me an arm and a leg to install cameras around my house. These were very easy to set up and a great price. Just plug in, set up and link to my ring account I had for my ring door bell. I placed them by the windows so they point outside the house. I ordered some stick-on brackets so I could easily mount some without drilling holes in my walls. I took away one star because one of the cameras seems to only record the reflection of my curtains on the window at nIght time and I can’t seem to get it to pick up the outside. It works fine capturing the outside during the daytime. The other ones pick up the outside clearly both daytime and nighttime no problem. I feel much safer having them around the house. I have town house end unit, so I have one overlooking my driveway at the front of the house, one overlooking the side and one overlooking the backyard.
