simply brilliant ! just bought a wood fired oven and these take all the mess out of lighting it. two Ecolighters , some kindling and the logs on top then light - perfect results and no mess or smell.

I’m really pleased with these. Light easy and burn for quite a while. Enough to easily get my log burner going. Loads in the box, quick delivery and good price.

They seam to struggle when lighting charcoal even when using a chimney starter

Better than firelighters and make firelighting very easy.

Fabulous firelighters. I was a little disappointed initially to find that these are dipped in wax, I was looking for a firelighter with no accelerant to start my BBQ. My disappointment was short lived, these burn very cleanly with no smell or residue left behind, they give around 6 minutes burn time with plenty of heat and flame. They come out of the box quite tightly twisted, I found a slight untwisting gave a better burn. When used with lump wood and a chimney starter, one of these little gems is enough to start your grill going.

I have just used these to light an open fire in a fireplace and they are the best firelighters I've used so far. They stay lit for ages, don't smell at all and it really only takes one or two to get the fire going. I'll definitely buy these again.

Great Firelighters. Initially we used two for our wood burning stove, but found that actually only one was needed to get the kindling going. A bonus is that they are eco-friendly, no chemicals, which is nice to know - especially as the wood ash is then used on our allotment. Would definitely recommend.
