I am working on building 3D printers and the different boards use different types of connectors. I bought the kit to allow me the flexibility to experiment with different cabling schemes. The kit has a good selection of different number of pin connections. The kit fits well in my crimp tools and they have been as durable as anything else I have used. If you are building 3d printers, its worth having this kit around for repairs.

These are good connectors nothing fancy about them. You just need right crimping too and they are ready to go. They are very easy to use if you know what you are doing. No issue with fit or connection.

Nice assortment of connectors. Worked perfectly with the iCrimp IWS-3220M crimper. The most challenging part is just getting the strip length correct.

I don't use a lot of these types of connectors, but they were easy to use after i watched a video on how to use my crimper to connect the wires.

The tabs for crimping are too long if you try to crimp without a special crimping too. I assume with the proper tool the wire should stay in the crimped connection without soldering.

Great item

I used these to make several custom ribbon cables for my 3D printer's steppers and LEDs. I did a few practice crimps then made my cables with no problems. JST-XH is a very small connector so you need a crimper with thin dies. My IWS-3220M makes it easy. The second-largest slot (1.5mm) works best. I also tried it with my generic dupont crimp tool. The dies are thicker so the terminal is buried deep and it's hard to get everything lined up, but you can make it work if that's all you have. Just be patient and make sure the locking tab stays outside the die.

I have my FPV drone hobby and this little screw set is a vital part of any build or repair work. Buy it and you will thank my some day.
