Great monitor for the price!
I've used and sold ViewSonic monitors for several years now, and I've always been completely satisfied with their image quality and their reliability. Superb product with impressive picture quality!

Great Monitor
Love this monitor. Sharp, clear image. Doesn't take up as much space on my desk as the old one. Easy to hook up and Windows recognized it right away.

Excellent bright crisp monitors!
ViewSonic VS2747-H 27 Inch 1080p IPS Monitor with 100Hz, Variable Refresh Rate We have now purchased 3 of these. 2 are used in a dual monitor setup on a main computer. The thin bezel makes the dual monitor setup look almost like a single huge monitor. Displays are crisp and the colors are nice and bright.

Still a good monitor, but...
Resolution and sharpness equal to the older version but the black level is not as black. Everything else works as expected. Monitor now has external power supply. I use the two I bought with another two from a couple of years ago, hence the differences. The price has also dropped and these are still very good, moderately-priced full HD monitors.

Reliable brand
I've always had good luck with ViewSonic monitors and no complaints here either. Adding as a second screen. Sharp images and performs great. Mounted on my pneumatic arm easily. Priced right as well. Very pleased

IS Far BELOW ViewSonic's former Standard!
Who likes fiddling? I do not mean Grand Master Violin or even student screeching out inconceivable ear destroying notes...NO, I am writing about having to adjust a computer monitor, while you are seated before it, by reaching around and "fiddling" with a toggle substandard joystick (Input device used to control the view on a computer screen. It is a poorly constructed plastic lever that can be tilted or pushed in different directions to provide input, not to a computer graphics card but, to the monitor itself.) Get this in your mind's eye: You are seated before the monitor...the color balance is not right for your purposes...the type of atmosphere you wish to conduct your work, or play in just has to be corrected. Do you utilize your mouse or a similar device that any rational computer user would push and click in order to point to a place on a display screen to select one or more actions to take from that position? Not in this instance. No, you have to adjust the monitor by reaching around the back of the monitor, while attempting to view the screen to insure you are getting the results one would expect or certainly anticipate...it means, almost certainly, that you may not remain in a seated position, positioned in such a way as to view results in order to permit a reliable, desirable outcome. Basically, this flimsy, plastic, protruding object, has to be manipulated without sight...either you see the screen, or you see what the cheap plastic "joystick" is doing...if you remain seated in order to see the screen, you have to almost certainly be closer to the screen than normal use would require...less than arm's length away. Here is the best of the worst: If, when positioning this ViewSonic monitor into its place of abode, even if the monitor has to be moved at some later date, I would anticipate disaster should you accidentally bump the "toggle" jutting out of the back...at which point you can kiss adjusting the monitor goodbye. Yes, you may adjust your video card's properties, without the toggle-thing-a-ma-jiggy, (Sorry for the technical terms here.), through your computer, but if the monitor is maladjusted, all the extra curricular "fiddling" you would have to do with your graphics card and/or graphics software would not, could not, will not, produce reliable or desired results. I received the ViewSonic monitor, on a Sunday, in it's original factory packaging. Wonderfully protected packaging. I took it out of the box and was a bit dismayed..."What is this thing-a-ma-bob protruding from out of the back"? (More Tech Jargon, sorry.) I have a PhD in Computer Information Systems and Digital Securities. I am also retired, so titles don't mean spit. But I can assure you, as a previous Digital Forensics Examiner/Investigator, I would not have permitted such a device in my forensic lab; it would have been immediately sent back due to the easily recognized problems with such a configuration. This is what I have done. I notified Amazon of the issue, (It just would not work here, even in my retirement.), as well as my desires to immediately return the monitor. They were gracious enough to permit me to do so. My desire, in my later years, is to join the podcast crowd...it would especially not work here; in fact, I cannot conceive, consider or speculate on any situation wherein such a device would fit in. If the toggle switch were on the front, and of a more sturdy construction, it may satisfy. But, I would certainly hesitate to give it any endorsement. In days past, ViewSonic was wonderful...the only way I may apply this word here is that it is wonderfully wrong. FOLLOW-UP! The item was returned...they received the item on the 16th, or 10 days ago as this is the 26th. There has been NO REFUND to my debit card as of yet. They list that a refund will be issued on September 1st, 2024, but that it will not be applied to my card until much later in September. They took my money from my account the day they shipped the item...they should have put it back the very same day they received the ViewSonic monitor back...I might add in the same box it was shipped in, in the same condition it was received in, with all papers and cords. This is unacceptable and smacks of "playing" with people's monies...the longer the money is kept, the more interest they might get. NEVER AGAIN! No other Amazon storefront, nor Amazon, that I have used for over 15 years, has practiced in such a way...they have almost always been honorable, whether in a return or simply in the direction of their business.

This is an excellent monitor my wife has a pair of these in their 27 inch version on her Mac Mini duel monitor setup computer and I have a pair of the same model in the 24 inch version on my Mac Mini duel monitor setup computer. The monitors are well matched the colour is the same on both monitors and the contrast and brightness can be easily adjusted to match both monitors as well the monitors even mine have lots of room for evaluating videos or photos of just haveing work out on one monitor as file folders ready to be used.
