I noticed in the first weekthat the evaporationdropped by more than half, with the weather conditions being the same. The temperature of the pool also is staying more stable.It has so far worked as advertised. Here in Florida, we use our pool year round, so the savings on water and chemical use would pay for the cost of this product.

Didn’t do anything to lock the heat from escaping. I have solar heaters during the day and was hoping this would help keep the heat in at night. But alas it did not.Updated (7/31/24):Company reached out to me after I had left a 1 star review to offer me a full refund even tho the return window had expired.That says a lot about this company. Even tho the product didn’t work for me; I upped my rating from 1 to 3 stars. This was NOT solicited by the company to do so. I did it because the company did the right thing.

The media could not be loaded. I really, really, wanted this stuff to work because I hate using a solar blanket. They are a pain to take off, a pain to put on, and when they fail you get 1000’s of little plastic bubbles in your pool.That being said this is the 2nd product I’ve tried. Neither held the heat, and neither stopped the evaporation. I followed the instructions, shook the bejesus out if it, used the proper amount, and even added an extra ounce for good measure and still as you can see in my video, the heat leaving my pool.

Bottle says it should help pool hold heat and safe to swim after 1 hour of adding to pool. We went swimming 24 hours after adding it and all the kids had a rash that I assume was from this as they swim in our pool every day and have never had this issue before. I stopped using it and no more rash issues for the kids. If you have sensitive skin I would not use this. I had no issue with it but all the kids did.

I had my new pool heater installed this fall and enjoyed being able to have an extended swim season. I wasn’t sure how effective pool lock is, but one morning when I saw steam rising from the pool, I added the prescribed amount of heat lock and 10 minutes later, there was no more steam rising from the pool. Pretty strong evidence that it prevents evaporation and locks in the heat. I will continue to use it.

Been using it about 2weeks and already see a huge difference. With temperatures near 100 I was adding water to our 18,000 gallon pool every 5 days. Last refill was two weeks ago and I just had to add some. Also, our pool becomes a mosquito breeding ground this time of year. I was netting thousands everyday. But when I added this product I hardly see any in the water at all. I don’t even see them in the air! I’m wondering if this stuff gives off an smell they don’t like..?Highly recommend this for at least evap reduction.

Great product, warms the pool water to a very comfortable degree and also preserves the chemicals to help keep the water balanced. I highly recommend it.
