Healthy plant
No idea whether this is Japanese variety. However the plant is very healthy. Just that why do sellers pack in clay soil. This is detrimental for health of plants and though plants remain green in the period it reaches us. Keeping this soil intact causes root decay quickly

Good quality plants
The plants were laden with fruit when they arrived but due to the dryness during transport all fell off along with most leaves. After watering, a few days later both had lots of flowers, 1 plant had fruiting , 1 did not. But waiting for that plant also to pick up.I need advice on how to fertilize these plants to get maximum yield.
