Barbie is what I thought it would be

My daughter loves this Barbie! It can be hard finding dolls with natural hair, i prefer them because it helps my daughter like her own natural hair. I was concerned this doll might be too boring for her because it’s pretty simple but she loves it she even took it with her to the library today. Its definitely helped her to appreciate her natural hair more having a Barbie with a big afro. I also love that this barbie has flat feet instead of being on her tippy toes like classic barbies. Plus the dolls shoes have actually stayed on her feet for about a month so far!

I like to buy AA dolls with the Afro, but I prefer them to have the articulated body. So I also bought the Ice skating doll to use as her body. Wouldn’t you know it’s the same doll mold! They have the exact same face, just the hair is different. First time I’ve bought an articulated doll that has a perfect match. This is more likely to happen with the traditional blonde Barbie.
