16 months later and I'm still very happy with my purchase. I originally bought them to decorate my bike for Blackpools Ride the Lights. Since then I've ended up using these outside during Christmas, to decorate my tent while camping and as indoor mood lighting. They pack up very small, are very flexible and easy to manipulate and since they can be powered from USB and only draw 1-2w in my testing they can be used essentially anywhere, which I have done! The cable has been pulled at and stressed overtime, it has been drenched in weeks worth of rain too and the set still looks and functions like they did on day 1. The customisations are also second to none when compared to regular store bought sets of lights. We use a set of fully customisable Twinkly string lights on our Christmas tree each year, they cost 5x as much and the only noticeable difference is a couple more customisations and patterns on the Twinkly sets. My nitpicks however, are that the brightness isn't quite as bright as mains powered sets, only noticeable if they're side by side. On their own they are still what I'd call bright. The LED spacing is also quite wide which again can make them harder to pick out if surrounded by other bright lights. I would also say the USB connection could be a weak point if not taken care of.

These are brilliant. Comes with an app so you can change the lights. You can design your own lights, choose the colours yourself, pick the flashes, brightness etc. usb fitting without a plug but not an issue for us as we have plenty. Kids love them. They’re wrapped around the bed. Really easy to set up and install. Comes with a remote controll as well!

I bought these to fit around my bike, as they're waterproof and would give better visibility for drivers while I'm out riding in the dark. They have easily survived some pretty major downpours without problem. They are quite bright, but not blinding. They work best in the dark. As they work from a USB A plug, it's a cinch to power them from a USB power bank. I generally set them to an orange colour, but it can be fun on Halloween or Christmas to set them to funky colours or flashing. The app is easy to use and has a lot of features. The main issue I've had with them is that the cable around the USB plug seems to have weakened after only a few weeks. I plugged them in one day and they didn't come on. I thought they were broken, but later I tried them again and they worked, which confused me. Later I found that the lead around the cable is broken or dodgy, and it needs to be tweaked to get it to connect properly. This is a bit poor and a shame because the rest of the cable with LEDs in it seems to be holding up well.

Very versatile little lights, bought these to put round my tele, they’re lovely and work off a remote, you can change the colour and mode, you can also change the mode and colour through an app on your phone, great value for money 👍🏻

Purchased in Aug 25. I would not recommend these and would not purchase again. The set up and app is different on this set (were Lotus lamp but now idealLED) which are not as good as a previous set I purchased. When trying to set the entire string to bright white, the last couple of meters, the LEDs are yellow and will not go white. I bought 2 sets but unfortunately I didnt notice this until I started to play with the 'create my collection' function. I have just checked the 2nd set and they are also faulty. Sadly out of the return window so I cannot return or I would.

Great lights worked well off of power bank.

Pretty lights. Purchased 3 but one had a tiny cable cut and was not working. I fixed the cable and still usable but I would have preferred not having to fix in the 1st place.

Absolutely brilliant 👏 best purchase all year!!! Love them!! Good quality, brilliant price and great fun on the christmas tree!
