I am a novice bread maker who occasionally ends up with a good loaf of bread. What always annoyed me was trying to put the dough on a piece of parchment paper and then lowering it into a 400-degree cast iron dutch oven. I tried cutting the paper to minimize the folding but always ended up with crinkles around the edges of the loaf and frequently having the paper stuck to the bread. I saw this silicone sling on a baking video and immediately ordered one. While it can't improve poorly proofed dough, it does work extremely well for moving the dough into the dutch oven for baking and makes it easy to remove the dough after the loaf is baked. I'm very happy with this product. Now if I could only figure out the mysteries of sourdough bread.

I divided an orange two-pack of these silicone bread slings for a couple of my sourdough making friends. They were super happy with them. They said the slings are really easy to lift the bread loaves out of their Dutch ovens.They’re lightweight, well-made material like silpat mats, easy to clean. The slings roll up well and can be slipped into a small space for storage.

This sling fits in my 6 Quart dutch oven with a little extra room. I use it to keep my bread from over baking on the bottom. It worked perfectly.

Works well, cleans easily. Large rings make it easy to grab.Easily transports to the Dutch oven without worrying about disturbing the integrity of the dough. The rings are big enough to hold with oven mitts. However there should be a warning that the silicone is extremely hot out of the oven and that you should always wear gloves when removing it from the oven.

Haven’t used them yet but came in when suppose to and looks of good quality.
