though--I really can't think of a better way to phrase it
I ordered up based on the other reviews, but I found it to be a bit larger than expected; that said, if I'd ordered a size down I'm not sure how it would have fit either. I concur that the material is delicious, though--I really can't think of a better way to phrase it! The color is true to the image, but it is completely see-through. Overall I am glad I purchased it.

Perfect nightgown. More needed.
I love, love, love this night gown. I wish I could find it in another color. I purchased it in a 1X and it fits perfectly. It is extremely difficult to find items that are beautifully made for plus sized women. This nightgown hit the mark. The fabric is very supple and the flow of the fabric is nice/roomy. I hope Betsey Johnson brings this one back.

the material is delicious and feels wonderful to sleep in. the two layers keep it from sliding up in the night. the reason for the "somewhat small" is not the body: the straps are a little short, perfect for a petite person, but if you are average or above, I'd order up for longer straps.
