Sharp, sturdy and adjustable
Worked great for cutting wiring tracks in flooring underlay. Sturdy unit with sharp blades. Easy to adjust width.

Many uses for this tool
This is a great cutter for people needing to cut strips that are absolutely even. I use it with polymer clay to cut strips to use as borders on my jewelry. Gone are the days of "eyeballing" the depth of the piece and getting it wrong. I use the little screw to set the width to exactly what I need and cut. What is also nice is that I can cut around some imperfections in my clay and the final strip will work as a straight strip to go around my pieces. Can't do that with a single blade. I am experimenting with using the strips to braid. Haven't perfected it yet! I have not used the tool with paper, but that should be next.

Decent for non-precision cuts
The concept is a winner, but the execution is lacking. When applying any pressure to make a cut, the blades travel apart depending on angle and pressure applied, so cuts are of uneven width. It making strips or cutting out line thickness and you do not care about consistency in your cuts, this tool works great.

Great for Polymer Clay
I made my own polymer clay strip cutter from 2 small tissue blades and little magnets. It worked pretty well. Now that I have this Excel strip cutter, I'm retiring my homemade cutter. This is easy to adjust and cuts much better than the old one. It's great for my purposes (a little expensive).

Saves time and improves accuracy
Just received this tool and used it to cut some masks for painting an HO scale caboose. Ordinarily I would use a ruler to measure the area to be masked, transfer measurements to masking tape, and cut with straight-edge and hobby knife, a difficult and often inaccurate procedure for these old eyes and shaky hands. Instead, I used the Dual Strip Cutter to measure the area directly, caliper-style, then simply free-handed the cut. Great results! Be sure to read product description for the range of widths that this tool can cut.

Accurate strip cutting
The more I use this strip cutter for polymer clay, the more I think of additional uses for it. It’s sharp and cuts clean lines. I can now cut narrow or wide, perfect strips.

An excellent product
An excellent addition to my modeling toolkit. With Tamiya tape, and my Excel parallel cutter, I was able to easily mask my F-106 nose. If only I'd had this tool ten years ago. My only hesitation is in the availability of the Excel #59 blades, Hobby Lobby doesn't seem to carry them in stock, so online ordering is my only option.

Not as Good as I Thought this would be.
Wanted to cut some quilt stencils but would not cut the plastic sheets I purchased even though they were not that thick. Will cut paper nicely but is not what I had purchased for. Think you have to purchase a special type of sheet if cutting stencils but when I researched found it to be too expensive. I ended up using golden threads quilting paper transferring the design by taping it to my stencil sheet and using my sewing machine with a jeans needle to transfer the design to the stencil sheet. Then I was able to use a fine blue water soluble pen to make dots though the stencil to transfer to the fabric. Could probably use pounce powder too but don't like the dust and mess it makes and design gets too easily dusted off.

This double-bladed knife is a good idea. It cuts well, although it does not cut very fine lines. Quite uncomfortable to use — fingers rapidly become tender. But if you don’t need to cut a lot of material in one go, it works well. Maybe manufacturer could work on a more ergonomic design. Would recommend it.
