Works great!
Awesome suit. Bought it for my girlfriend who loves it. We're skinny peoplez so we get cold fast. With these suits we can dive n surf for much longer and be comfortable while doing so. I know her height, weight, bust, waist and hips. From that I chose a size and it fit well. Chose to get youth size cuz it cheaper than buying a women's which is same dimensions. I PAID FULL PRICE FOR THIS ITEM.There are leg zippers! Huge advantage for easy entry. Back zip makes arm entry easier than a top entry also.In Hawaii we get 70-80 degree water so it's not uber cold, but the wind makes it frigid sometimes. We just got a 3-2 mil and it works fine. All warm. Chee

Perfect fit, worked great.
This is the second one of these I have purchased. The first one we bought at an oceanside store and were able to test the fit.I was a little nervous about the sizing, but the sizing chart and some user comments helped narrow down my selection. My son is 7, and about 4'3 and very thin, so he's a hard fit to start with. I ordered the boy's size 8 and it fit him perfectly. We used it on a trip to the ocean in Northern Cali where the water was cold, and it was cool and cloudy, and it kept him warm. He was able to play in the water the whole time without any trouble.Note that this is a wetsuit, not a dry suit, so while it helps with warmth it's not going to keep the kid dry. Seems like a few of the negative reviewers don't understand the difference.

Great wetsuit. Runs small.
I purchased this wetsuit for use by my teenage son on a week long winter SCUBA and snorkeling trip in the Caribbean. The suit was comfortable, held up well, and did not leak at any of the openings. We did have to exchange it for a larger size. According to the size chart my slender 5'2" 102 lb boy should have found the size 14 the right length, but a little loose. The 14 was actually way too small and the 16 fit perfectly.

Worth the Money
We've been using this wetsuit for 2 seasons and it is continuing to hold up VERY WELL. We purchased a size up so that our little one wouldn't outgrow the suit. It has definitely been worth the money. This suit keeps our LO warm year round. She is able to swim in an outdoor pool in moderate temperatures and never get cold, she swam in an indoor pool that wasn't heated and never got cold. If you're looking for a reputable brand that will last, is warm, and still provides flexibility, I recommend the O'Neill brand.

Perfect suit
Bought for my 8 year old daughter who fits size 7/8 clothes. This fits great! It is a little loose in the tummy area but didn't effect her in the water. Keeps her warm and we love the zippers on the ankles to help take off the suit easier when wet.

Neck area is a little too tight even for one size up
This wetsuit is ok. It keeps my son warm. However, the neck area is a little tight for him. He is 2.8 years old and 98% in height and weight, wearing a size 4. We preciously had a small sized wetsuits (1-2 years old, size 3) by the same brand but he never complained about the neck area being too tight.

Provide a lot of warmth, but a bit stiff
My son takes swimming lesson in a swimming pool that is very cold. I bought a short sleeve wetsuit for him but he still comes up with purple lips. So finally found this long sleeve wet suit. The size was perfect and he is much more comfortable in the pool. The only thing is that the material is thick and stiff, so he felt like it was helping him doing the butterfly. Because otherwise he just flops too much:-)I really recommend this product for children.

Impressed (had high expectations)
Bought two of these 3/2 fullsuits, both Size 6, for my boys who are ~4 ft tall and 45, 55 lbs. They are a little long (shows up in the legs and arms) which is exactly what I wanted as I hope to get a few seasons out of them. I have always preferred O'Neill wetsuits because of the cut and quality and have been using them for decades. These didn't disappoint me - they are high quality with knee patches and flat stitching. The legs have zippers at the ankles which allows them to put the fullsuit on easier. The one made in Thailand came with a key pocket but the one made in China did not have a key pocket (a very minor detail for us).
