I have one of these fitted to both of my garden hoses. I bought the first one about seven years ago and it's still in daily use.This was the first Gardena product I bought, and have since swapped my hoses, fittings and sprayers for Gardena ones – as each of the Hozelock ones failed.This particular hose fitting is much more reliable and longer lasting than a standard stop end fitting. Plus, the tap can be used to control the flow of water – which can be really handy if you plug a car cleaning brush into it.My top tip for ensuring that this particular attachment lasts many years is that just before the Winter starts to get really cold, detach any spray fitting, turn off your garden tap and open the valve. Then if the water in your hose freezes, it wont expand and crack it.

Not a cheap connector but in my opinion Gardena is a better product than that other brand.Seems well made from better quality plastics and the quarter turn shut off is smooth and works 100%.Makes life so much easier having not to need to run back to primary tap every time you need to change something.
