Thought I was buying an extendable unit but it’s screw together so not as easily stored. HOWEVER, it does the job and the price was well worth it.

Exactly what I needed for changing the lights in my raised ceiling. Works great and good quality. Should last me a lifetime.

I bought this for the recessed lights in my kitchen. No matter how hard I tried, the suction cup didn't adhere properly to the bulb. For me this purchased was a waste of money,

I told my coworker that I used this to change a lightbulb in my garage ceiling and she said she wouldn't need one because she has a husband who is 6'4". Now I jokingly refer to my lightbulb changer as my "husband" because I don't have to climb a ladder, my "husband" can do it easily. At first I was a little leery of the bulb falling out of the little cage thing, but it was perfectly secure. Still haven't needed to use the suction attachment but will practice releasing the string on a test bulb before being comfortable enough to use the "husband" for flat bulbs. I shouldn't have waited so long to purchase this. Make sure the little cagey attachment is secured tightly because when turning the bulb the first time, it loosened the attachment. That is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

It would be nice if instructions had come with on how to assemble and how o use!

Just didn’t work for me

Wow just wow! What a life changer tool! I just replaced a light bulb in my staircase ceiling using the whole length of this amazing tool. I used to own a tool like this previously but it was too flimsy so I actually cracked the light bulb. Not having too much faith in this tool that I just received from Amazon I am totally amazed how easy it was to use it. It’s sturdy and very long. It has a good grasp around the bulb, I didn’t use the suction part yet. The length is adjustable by removing parts of the stick , great for any hight and great for a storage. I can use it as well to replace the 8’ ceiling recessed lights without stepping on the ladder. I don’t know why it says it’s a frequently returned item because I could use it so easily. I am generally a handy woman but I’m not that young anymore (in my 60’s) but I gave a try to this tool before I called my handyman. For the price and functionality- totally worth it!
