Dimensions/Learn-A-Craft Counted Cross Stitch Kit 6" Round, Take Time (14 Count)

Really enjoyed doing this for my sister! Very easy and a great present for the next time I get on her nerves. Clear directions and labeling and well worth the price. I kept forgeting how little money I spent on it because it looks great. I wasn't a fan of the generic saying so I looked up short shell quotes and looked up letter patterns online.

I hadn't done cross stitch since I was young, but wanted some handwork and this was the perfect place to start. The kit had everything I needed to get started and was the perfect level to get back into it. Easy enough for me to complete in less than a week, 'hard' enough to look great (& not like a kid's craft project). Plenty of floss to get it completed with extra left over. Fairly easy directions (though, since I have cross-stitched before, I can't say if they would be good enough for a complete beginner). I still need to figure out exactly how I want to display it, but very happy with this for the cost and result.

Very coastal and incomplicated!

Nice product and they give the supplies - a plus - NOT ENOUGH thread to complete the cross stitch pattern - I am suppose to now go and find some that will match. I called spoke with customer service - gave me the corresponding #'s to look for DMC thread - hopefully I can find. I do love the pattern and give the lower rating as they should have sent enough thread to complete!

This kit comes complete with ther fabric, a hoop, one needle and 8 colors. The great thing about how the thread comes is that you can easily "park" your threaded needle into it. I think I have 5 needles being used at one time. "Parking" is a great technique, and I encourage new stitchers to read up on it.I've been trying to keep track of how long I've been working on it. It was completed in under 40 hours. I removed less than 100 mistake stitches. I filled in mossy of the seashells with white. I also blended two spots. As you can see, I put it in the hoop to stitch. That helps. I prefer to display my cross stitch in matted frames behind glass. Ther finished size is 5x7, and I purchased a 10x10 frame matted to an 8x8.

This was a simple counted cross-stitch pattern. It went together very quickly. It is very cute.

Kam viel schneller an als ursprünglich ankündigt. Leider ist das Motiv nicht aufgedruckt, sondern lediglich ein Bild mit Kästchen dabei.Macht das Sticken damit für mich total mühsam und habe deshalb auch noch gar nicht angefangen. Der Preis geht voll in Ordnung.

This kit comes with everything you need to create exactly what is in the picture.The instructions are perfect for newbies to cross stitch. The pattern requires concentration - there isn't a lot of "block" colour, so you do need to pay attention to what colours go where.There is one french knot in this pattern dotting the "I". The instructions for this are clear, however I'd recommend watching a YouTube video and practising a few times on a corner of the fabric (which you'll eventually cut off).I love how the finished piece looks on the wall.
