Great product. Easy to use.

Bought because my neighbour’s tree had got into the shared sewage pipe. I read the reviews and it was highly recommended. So far so good and this spring will show if it needs to be done every two years or longer.

A gully at the side of the house was blocked by a mass of thin roots from our Hydrangea petiolaris. I cleared manually those visible in the drain but beyond the trap it was blocked and letting only a very slow trickle of rainwater pass. Since I was unable to reach the roots I used 5 treatments of the Roebic root killer; finally after 4 weeks I was able today to empty 4 gallons of water from a can directly into the drain without the drain overflowing. So , although I cannot see beyond the trap of the gully, the problem has been solved, thankfully.

Had tree root ingress shown by drain CCTV. Was quoted a thousand quid to remove it! Tried this stuff, and it’s sorted! How do I know?We’ve lived with it in an old house for months. The toilet would block up as loo roll would catch on the tree root and back up. It would never clear itself and would have to jet it with a pressure washer to free it up.Since using this has been a few days of use and it cleared.

I have had a recurring root problem with my drains for many years which needed attention to clear blockages about once per month. But since applying this product direct into the drain via the manhole, the drain has been root free and clear of blockages for about three months and no sign of the problems returning at least for now. I am very pleased with the result.

Seen reviews on this type of product and they seem to be good but after using it myself it had little to no affect and the roots where still visible after I used it not much foaming really

Easy to use.

Knew I had a root blockage in my drain as it had been cctv scanned. Couldn't shift it by rodding / jetting so decided to try FRK Foaming Root Killer.Followed the instructions on the container, and although the contents had settled and it was a bit difficult to get all the bottom half of the mixture out I did manage it and it did start foaming in the toilet pan. Gave it a flush and then a second flush as per instructions.Didn't use the waste for over 24 hours - but still blocked!Had to eventually resort to digging up, breaking in and removing the roots before replacing pipe.The Root Killer just didn't work!
