Helikon-Tex Foxtrot Mk2 Belt Rig, Bushcraft Line

I had a cheap bum bag for summer trips up the hills but found it flopped about and once I had 2 litres of water in it, it was uncomfortable. The shoulder straps on this make a big difference. With a litre of water in each pocket, sit mat underneath, lunch and emergency kit inside and a fleece and trekking poles stuffed in the shock cord it was solid. I'd prefer longer shock cord on top and might add that myself.

Easily one of my best purchases for walking. Supplemented with two EE pouches from Helikon Tex & a 9l pouch from Tasmanian Tiger & Foragers pouch from FF. Allows flexibility & adapts to walks with my wife, taking the dogs on long walks & enjoying my hobbies. All of the pouches easily removed/replaced from/ to the Mk2 using the molle system. The elastic webbing & straps allow a tarp to be mounted below & a sitmat above. The shoulder straps are not an issue with the jackets I wear so all in all I can recommend this Foxtrot MK2 bag.

It is a useful bit of kit, added a first aid pouch and molle pouch. Ditched the straps that come with it and replaced with decent H harness

It's too small for anything other than very short walks. It willnhold maybe some food and a couple.of bottles but not all your waterproofs etc too. The straps are very thin and any prolonged use or overloading of the pack would I suspect, make them dig into your shoulders. Buy the Helikon Foxtrot and an H harness . Bigger cheaper too and better MOLLE attachments.

Great addition if you are looking to have some suitable equipment packed separately from your Daysack or small pack this aids that possibility. Enough space to carry suitable items for a possible emergency

🚨 Utilisation détournée donc pas représentative du produit tel que conçu initialement (ça démontre sa polyvalence cependant, ce qui est un +) Bonne qualité globale, solide, bien fini. C’est ni du très haut de gamme hors de prix, ni de l’entrée de gamme pas fiable. Utilisé pour transporter du matériel photo. L’ajustement des sangles permet 2 ports : - Dorsal classique (comme un « demi-sac ») - Abdominal (comme un chest rig), plus exotique et pas conçu pour à l’origine (poids plus ou moins important sur la nuque, selon ce qu’on charge et quel vêtement amorti) mais nécessaire pour accéder rapidement au matériel. Je charge en général entre 4 et 5kg de matériel. Je l’utilise en port abdominal et pas de soucis musculaire après utilisation prolongée. La sangle abdominale permet de principalement faire reposer le poids sur les hanches, peu importe la configuration choisie. Le rapport emport/compacité est très bon. Ma configuration : La poche admin permet de transporter le boitier de l’appareil photo + des accessoires dans les compartiments internes avec une bonne marge de place. La poche centrale extérieure accueille des produits alimentaires. Au dessus, le tendeur peut tenir un vêtement. En dessous, on peut y faire tenir un trépied (pas trop lourd). Les poches aux extrémités servent à transporter des objectifs (un nikkor 70-300mm rentre par exemple) et/ou une gourde d’eau. La configuration est modulaire grâce aux attaches molle de la sangle abdominale qui permettent d’y rattacher par exemple des pochettes avec une paire de jumelles d’un côté et un gros objectif sigma 150-600mm de l’autre. Si le produit fait le boulot pour mon utilisation, il devrait le faire pour la majorité.
