Great Cable
I recently purchased the Smolink 50 ft Cat 8 Ethernet Cable, and I’m blown away by its performance! As someone who relies on a stable, high-speed internet connection for both gaming and remote work, this cable has exceeded all my expectations. The 40Gbps speed and 2000Mhz bandwidth are no joke—I’ve noticed a significant boost in my download and upload speeds compared to my old Cat 6 cable. Whether I’m streaming 4K content, playing online games on my PS5, or transferring large files to my PC, there’s zero lag or buffering. It’s truly future-proof, making it perfect for anyone looking to upgrade their network setup. The build quality is outstanding. The shielded, heavy-duty SFTP design feels durable and well-made, and the gold-plated RJ45 connectors snap in securely with no wobble. I’ve run this 50 ft cable across my house—under carpets and along walls—and it’s held up perfectly without any signal loss. Plus, the flat design is a game-changer; it’s so easy to manage and keeps everything looking tidy.I use it with my modem, router, and Xbox, and the compatibility is flawless. It’s also great to know it’s built tough for both indoor and outdoor use, though I’ve kept mine inside so far. For the price, this cable offers incredible value—high-end performance without breaking the bank.If you’re serious about your internet connection, whether for gaming, work, or just everyday browsing, this Smolink Cat 8 Ethernet Cable is an absolute must-have

Don’t sleep on a good cable. Improve your internet performance!! Hardline in
I have had NO hiccups with this cable since purchasing! It was obviously really easy to use, plugs right into your standard Ethernet port. It has been very durable as I am still using this same cable a few years later. I see regularly 1gb of download speed to my Xbox or pc AND that’s exactly what I am paying for through my isp. This cable provides the exact level of speed and functionality that I am needing for heavy online usage with little to no lag. Not to mention the braid on the cable itself has held up well with several people walking over there it is taped (yes taped down to the floor going through entryways as I could not go through the ceiling like I planned… physically couldn’t do the job thanks to health issues) and not only people but some dogs and a cat and it’s still going strong! That weave over the cable really offers some quality protection compared to a regular rubber cable.

Unbeatable Speed and Durability!
This Smolink 50 ft Cat 8 Ethernet cable is a total game-changer! The 40Gbps speed and 2000MHz bandwidth deliver lightning-fast and reliable performance, whether I’m gaming, streaming in 4K, or working from home. I noticed an immediate improvement in my connection stability compared to my previous cable. The build quality is top-notch—thick, sturdy, and well-shielded to prevent interference. It’s surprisingly flexible for a heavy-duty cable, making it easy to route around furniture and along walls without issues. The connectors fit snugly into the ports without any wiggle, so I never have to worry about accidental disconnections.Whether you’re using it for a gaming console like PS5 or Xbox, or connecting a router or PC, this cable handles it all with ease. The extra length is super convenient for larger setups, and the black design is sleek and unobtrusive. If you need a reliable, high-speed Ethernet cable, this is hands down the best choice. Highly recommend!

Worked great for my needs
I got this cable just so I could update the firmware on my Samsung 4K UHD Blu-ray player after noticing that some Blu-ray discs wouldn't play. A message of "This disc does not meet specifications" would be displayed on the TV screen. I'd then have to watch it on a smaller screen in my bedroom. Not being an expert in these things, I Googled what may he causing the issue and of course I got the obvious results: The disc is scratched and wrong region code. Hard "No" on both. But I did see something regarding firmware and this being a "smart" player, but lacking a connection to the internet, thought this may be the issue.Fast forward to the CAT8 cable. Got it in one day, plugged into the port on the back of the player and the other end into a router about 15 feet away. Connected to the net right away, went into the menu, downloaded the latest software update, put in two different movies that I know for a fact wouldn't play the day before, hit "Play" and they both worked and went right to their respective menus.I guess I could have tried a wireless LAN connector but this was cheaper at only 9.99 at the time of purchase and I don't know if I would have had connectivity issues with the wireless one. Maybe not, but maybe yes lol.At 50 ft. it's long but for whatever reason that was the cheapest version. Also, I suppose if I ever need the extra length, I'll certainly have it. I won't keep this plugged in, but if I start running into similar issues in the future I know I can just break this cable out, update the firmware and keep on watching. To summarize: Simple "plug and play" connectivity, cheaply priced and fast data transfer as a CAT8.Hope this helps someone looking for a LAN cable.

Great QC
It's well-made and has pleasing aesthetics. My only complaint (so far anyway) is that while my internet speed was increased, moving it from one port to another is a bit of a pain in tight areas (like the back of my computer) and the press catch did NOT want to let go, I eventually had to get a small flat head screwdriver to be able to reach down far enough to hit the release
