Works great.
I ordered this to help.my mother in law take her walker up a ramp I built for her going from her bedroom to her laundry room.I wasn't sure how this would work. We had already installed handle grips by the door, but she still had trouble with her walker. It worked fantastically.

Good quality product
I broke my foot and need all the help I can get to get in & out of our house. This handrail is good quality, very sturdy, and has been helpful.

Great for stairs.
Easy to install for garage to house stairs. The handles are sturdy and have a good length and size.

all as described.... had to use stronger hardware and some washers (the drywall was uneven)

Installation was difficult
I love the railing and it's perfect for the place we put it. Unfortunately the screws supplied with the anchors were not big enough to spread the anchors. We had to spend an additional $10 to buy heavy duty anchors and screws in order to hold the railing secure.

Easy to install
This railing is the perfect size and super easy to install. I feel very safe going up and down the stairs.

They anchors will not work for true handrail safety
The handrail works great for our drop down to the garage. But their a problem... The fasteners it's comes with are junk. their made for hanging pictures. I used 3 lag screws in the 2x4 alonf the door frame but the outside are typical picture hanging fasteners. I pulled like I needed support, they gave way immediatley. you need Heavy Duty Hollow Wall Anchors Holds up to 270lbs. Americans are not tiny people. If your falling you don't need the handrail to pull out of the wall.
