I bought these (not a promotional product given to me) to take on a cruise, because our suite balcony has crappy low back chairs with no head support - not suitable for lounging, watching the water go by. I needed something small and light enough to put in our luggage, but with a high back for head support. The instructions are not so necessary since all the tubes are connected with shock cord , BUT it doesn't describe how to muscle the seat end of the cover on. I found the best way is to install the cover is to install the back first as directed, leaving unlocked & folded the lever in the bottom middle allowing you to get the seat cover on poles, Then lock the lever in place. The instructions don't mention that part at all, and the video didn't do it that way - the guy put the seat end on the pole, then put the pole in place. That is harder to do, and is a bad idea because you could mistakenly not fully seat the pole and bend it when you sit.You do have to sit and stand with care - this isn't furniture, but is way more comfy than an inflatable or plastic chair. The angle it sits is nice too - not too inclined, but not bolt upright either. I'll be comfy in this for hours. No armrests, but we can tuck our arms into the sides of the chair or rest them in the cup holders.The top of the back has some built in padding, enough that the included pillow is bonus. Everything fits in the very nice case, which is not over or undersized - no problem getting everything back into the bag. Shoulder and end carry handles on the bag are very nice attention to detailsThis is a great product and price point as long as you use it for what it is good for.I wouldn't use this chair for a picnic, because a simple aluminum folding chair would be more stable and no assembly. However for what I needed - extreme portability in size and weight, 5 minutes to assemble acceptable, but sits like a small lounge chair for an average sized adult - Perfect!

Right out of the bag, my first impression is amazed at how attractive and sturdy these chairs appear. Quick and easy setup and super excited to take these chairs on the road for a our trip to Yosemite NP this year.

A bit of a learning curve; assembly is easy, reassembly takes some practice. If you weigh more than 185 probably not best for you. If you weigh less than 115 eat a cheeseburger. And fries.

Nice backpacking chair. Fold up nice. Not super heavy. Easy to strap on a backpack.

Exactly what i have been looking for. I have had a few of the short legged chairs that are really comfortable but hard to get out of. This chair is really comfy but with taller legs is easier to stand up from. Well made and folds small. Highly reccomended!

My husband has a bad back and we love camping so wanted to upgrade his lightweight chair to a sturdier and more comfortable one. As soon as we set this one up (which took 30 seconds) and he sat down, he immediately loved it!!

It's really compact, comfortable, but difficult to assemble and disassemble.
