Philips 14W Emergency LED Bulb | Stellar Bright B22 Inverter LED Bulb for Power Cuts | Crystal White, Pack of 1

Well..It may have been around for sometime but this is my first time using an Inverter bulb which eventually should replace my Battery set. Technically it has a ( I would not say quirk) few conditions and those while imperative still need to be addressed. The wiring needs to be PERFECT and so does the SWITCH and the BULB HOLDER. I had to change a couple of Holders. It would seem the CURRENT FLOW while okay to light up a bulb during normal power supply MAY NOT be enough to light up the inverter bulb during a power cut or so my electrician told me. I changed the HOLDER and voila! there was light. it needs charging and after 3 hour of keeping the light on, I could see the bulb light up during a staged power shutdown. It's decent and at a price point where I am actually thinking of changing the entire lot. The limitation is that it only has BRIGHT WHITE as an option. I prefer warmer hues...it's too blue for me for my living room. If you are okay with CORRECTING whatever line, Switches or holder faults ( if any ) you have then it's not even a debate , Just go for it. I normally do not encounter a lot of power cuts but it's for emergencies and it's worth the effort and minuscule cost addition. The biggest USP however is that it's Philips and I have seldom seen ( Never actually myself) it gone wrong.

Good one but less brightness.. If you have any students in house it's not enough. Bring one tubelight

The product says it should be charged for 10 hours before use. I charged it for more than 20 hours but it did not lit up even for a minute when electric supply was cutoff. I requested replacement but without any replacement I got email that my replacement was complete. This is pure fraud. Don't buy this product.

Bright enough but not on battery.....the light significantly drop when on cut offs
