Lasted 2 years
Used on my master key ring. Old one lasted 2 years until the battery cover and battery fell out three weeks ago. when discovered a few days ago. Put a new battery in the old one, intending to cover it with tape, but the unit did not work. Had replaced the battery once, so claimed battery life seems correct. No idea why the unit didn't work when I put a new battery in it -- contacts seemed OK. I've taped the battery cover on this one, just in case. No regrets on buying the model then or now as I think daily pocket use for 2 years is reasonable at the cost.

Be sure app is compatible to your smartphone. Mine is too old and NOT compatible with the app.
Very easy setup. Used to locate wife's auto keys.

Cannot open this Tile in order to replace battery
The instructions say "apply a bit of pressure and slide the door off". No amount of pressure will allow the door to slide down. I tried finger pressure, fingernail pressure, and finally the blades of my scissors. All it did was scratch up the Tile unit. And, of course, it made this thing play a little song at me -- that continues repeating. Very annoying when all you want is to open the thing up.
