Plastic but nice!
The product is very plastic, where previous units were metal. So far I’m very happy with it. Take note, ports filter is 53mm

Broke down in nine months
We use this grinder in a two-person household, mainly in the mornings. We got it in Nov 2022 and it broke down August 2023. It started making popping sounds and producing a birning smell yesterday, afterwhich you can hear spinning but no grinding happens. For it's price and frequency of use I am an extremely disappointed and dissatisfied customer.

A well made espresso coffee grinder
This is the right home coffee grinder from a specialist maker. It works decently well and the very fine coffee grind at the (1) setting is quite good for an espresso cup. It would have been perfect with an auto stop switch for the ground coffee container when it becomes full.

Pros and cons
Pros: 1-Excellent espresso machine at that price. 2- There are tons of mods online for this machine. Cons: 1-machine accessories are very low quality (plastic tamper, baskets finish is rough, no milk pitcher included). 2- ON/OFF button stopped working after 1 week of use; it works only if I hold it, if I let it go it will switch off. (Solution: you can open the switch with flat screw driver and remove the spring inside) 3- it has 14 bar of pressure which is not optimal for espresso. You need to modify it to 9 bar.

Great machine but.....
This is a great home espresso machine. Probably the value machine readily available in the UAE. It is very capable of making cafe quality espresso at home. BUT you must purchase a grinder that is capable of grinding for espresso eg Baratza Sette or Eureka Mignon. Also the machine runs at 12 bar pressure and really needs to be modified to run at 9 bar the same as commercial machines. This machine and a Baratza Sette together are about the best value home espresso set up.

I have purchased this recently and already the on/off switch has broken. Doesn’t stay in which means the machine can’t warm up. I have contacted the company today, the asked me to double box it, leave a note on outside for EU customs and VAT. Basically I’m left stuck without a coffee machine for a month and no refund, I made a big mistake buying this.

Contrary to the reviews already out there, I found the milk steaming wand to be powerful enough especially for a beginner. I could easily steam a 350ml pitcher filled with about 100ml of cold milk in 20-25sec using a simple timing method (check YouTube for a detailed explanation). Do note that this unit has a bounce power switch and an auto-power saving mode which turns the machine off after about 15min so it will not work with a smart switch. I believe current models have a normal power switch.

La cafetera es muy pequeña y absolutamente de plastico. El espumador de plastico pero lo peor del espumador es que no hay espacio para cocinar la leche en jarrito. Está muy bajo y no se mueve hacia arriba, imposible. Otro punto muy desfavorable es que hay que esperar demasiado para pasar de funcion vapor a cafe. El cafe que prepara es mediocre, hemos probado varios cafes de varias marcas y molidos diferentes, papara el café mediocremente. La manga es pesada pero toda de plastico. Hay ciertas cosas que no son aceptables que sean de plástico. Como el espumador, la bandeja para el goteo y el aro de la manija para poner la cesta del filto. Pues lo tiene TODO de plastico! Esto no da confianza de durabilidad siendo que son piezas de quitar limpiar y poner, el plastico de desgasta y eso lo sabe hasta un niño. Los ingenieros que diseñaron esta cafetera podrian dedicarse a otra cosa. Por lo tanto la vamos a devolver. Es cara para lo que ofrece y es incómoda para hacer la leche. Y el café que prepara es mediocre. Algun punto a favor? Que se puede programar la cantidad de cafe aunque yo eso no lo necesito. Por lo general las cafeteras manuales no ofrecen ésto y sería el único motivo por el que le pongo 1 estrella. Vale mas el enorme logo de Gaggia pegado en la cafetera y la caja que viene envuelta que toda la cafetera en sí misma.
