Was hesitant about purchase but have loved it since. Fits perfectly into the bottom of my fridge door and filters very well. Can definitely taste the cleaner filtered watered compared to my very hard tap water, which I would never drink before and spent a fortune on bottled still water (I drink at least 3-4L per day). This paid for itself very quickly and I was so impressed that I also bought a bigger sized one just to filter water before filling my Brita filter kettle! So it saves me having to change the Brita filter in the kettle so often too thus saves me money. Really good investments for me. Haven’t had to buy any bottled water or a new kettle. Does exactly what it says !!!

We have used Brita water filter jugs since the 1980,'s when we moved to a hard water area. Functional, great design which is easy to fill, lovely clear water. Easy to clean and reset the monthly timer for filter change, lid opens when tipping jug for water flow. Comes with 1 cartridge.

Does the job, I hate tap water so this is great, takes the taste away and makes sure water is clean.good size and will fit in fridge if you like cold water, no leaks and good size without being to heavy

Good jug easy to fill and use

Living in Ireland, the deposit return scheme on plastic bottles was becoming a real hassle. I was constantly buying, storing, and returning small bottles, which was a nightmare. I don't like the taste of tap water, so I was thrilled to find this BRITA Marella jug. It makes the water taste so much cleaner and fresher. I'm actually drinking more water now, which is a huge plus!The jug itself is great - easy to fill and fits nicely in my fridge. I also love that I can use compatible cartridges, which saves money. If you're tired of lugging water bottles and want great-tasting water at home, I highly recommend this jug!

Fed up with buying bottles and bottles of plastic water from the supermarket I remembered the Britta having last used one in the 90s. Comes with three filters and easy to set up but the instruction are not clear. Simply wash the jug well and immerse the filter into the water jug for two mins then place the filter in the jug filter slot. Fill the jug and let the water pass through the filter twice (discarding the water between passings) and you are ready to go. Videos on you tube of how its all done but so easy. Water definately tastes much better and you loose that fresh out the tap taste, instead you drink something that tastes clean and fresh and could be passed as bottled water.
