These are great! Save yourself a headache and time.
Excellent quality. Excellent ease of use. I think it was a dollar more than going down to my big box store, but I was out of town and it was nice to order it so it would be there ahead of me. I absolutely love that feature. These things are an excellent value for saving time with your projects. On a historical note I've used these for about 12 years now and I've never had a problem with one. Here's hoping that I never will. This one happens to be the upgraded model and I really liked the stronger, thicker parts and that you could use it with any type of pipe.

HEY, IT'S A SHARKBITE
No fuss, no muss, works reliably for small plumbing updates. Pushed it on the clean end of PEX tubing as directed and was done. Water back on, and no leaks. Where were these years ago when I was sweating copper? No crimping tool or rings needed. I guess if you had a bunch of STOP VALVES to put on a a time these would be too expensive, but for only two, worth every penny!

Easy to install and remove in future if needed
First I will say in most applications I prefer a soldered copper joint. (If you are working with copper) After seeing these designs of quick connect fittings working well for many years I began to warm up to them. If you are using copper pipe make sure the pipe is cut square, not damaged, out of round or gouged. Further I would not use it on flexible copper. If used in any of these conditions you will most likely have an issue and a soldered fitting should be used, as it will fill any voids.Valves are a great use for this product, first sweating a joint can lead to cabinet damage, valves fail, this valve can easily be removed, just make sure you have enough length of pipe protruding. I have found they are reliable and well built. In my opinion failures occur from not following the aforementioned, not from a design flaw. The valves also have a nice quality finish which is a plus. Overall a well made product that is easy to install and is reliable.

Very good price and quality.
Excellent product for compression fitting for copper tube. I had to replace failed compression valve where copper tubing was narrowed from previous brass ring. This valve took less than one minute to install and no leaks :-). I had tried regular compresion valve before it kept on leaking. This valve also rotates 360 degrees which makes it very easy to install faucet and dishwasher one by one. Great product and great price from sharkbite. I was quoted by a local plumber $ 300 to remove and install new compression valve?? I saved lots of money and time to use this product. Thank You AMAZON :-)

Game changer
Push to connect have been around for quite a while, 1 yr installed, these have not failed. Some plumbers shy away from this type of fitting behind walls, for good reasons, but if you have a front wall application, I can justify the trade-off with traditional compression fittings (which fail too). Contractor's prices have gone through the roof--if you are a DIY'er, make sure you study and execute proper installation procedures.

Works
Old 1/2" compression fitting has been a leak issue for quite a while. Cut a new piece of pipe, cleaned and connected to the old feed line, and SharkBite 1/2 x 3/8 Inch Compression Dual Outlet Angle Stop Valve snapped in nicely with no leaks. This is my 3rd Sharkbite coupling; the other two were 1" copper, and after a few years, no issues at all.
