It’s so great that my husband has 34 of them in the basement
The ZHIKE RC Airplane is a fantastic gift for anyone interested in remote control planes, especially for beginners and hobbyists alike! This 4-channel plane, designed with a built-in gyro, is remarkably stable and easy to fly—even for those new to RC flying. My husband found it super engaging and loved how smoothly it handled in the air, with responsive controls that make it easy to perform tricks and navigate. It’s durable enough to withstand some bumps, so it’s perfect for outdoor fun without too much worry. It’s so great that my husband has 34 of them in the basement—just for him! No kidding! If you’re looking for an entertaining and exciting way to spend time outdoors, I highly recommend this plane for both adults and kids!

Good flying little plane, but not a kid’s toy
Really impressed by how the plane flies and the ease of operation, especially in the beginner mode. It’s a great little park flier. The lost plane feature (where it beeps until it restores connection with the transmitter) is great. It’s remarkably durable, considering how lightweight it is (easily less than half a pound). The light weight means it can really only fly in no to very, very little wind. Any more than that and the plane has a tough time and is either crashing or ending up in a tree. It’s not a high performance RC plane by any stretch of the imagination, but I was very impressed with the operation and quality of the build for the price. I’ll likely order another model from the same company soon.

Durable with great stability control
Bought for my 10 y.o. to learn to fly RC planes. The stability control makes it impossible to over-fly the airplane and he was able to control the plane without issue. It survived quite a few hard crashes and was a lot of fun. After enough crashes the propellers don't stay on and the quick attach mount needs to be changed, but if I recall it comes with a spare propeller and mount. I bought a couple spare propellers which also came with spare propeller mounts, too. After 50 or so hard crashes, the wing broke off and the model was dissected by my boy who found it fun to see what made it tick.

Only a few flights
It is a nice small airplane and is easy to control. The gyro is doing his job! The flights I had were great. But now the engine is not longer working! It is the same problem two other friends have. No crash but the engine is gone.It was a lot of fun- but only for a few flights... I hope they will take it back!

Fascinating and fun trip into yesteryear.
I flew RC with my father-in-law 50 years ago and have some scares to prove it. These are a whole new world. RTF, simple, fun and cheap...did I mention that they are inexpensive? Less than 1/50th the cost per minute of what it was in corrected dollars. Follow the setup instructions, no frequency tags, 6-axis gyro stability, combined 30 minutes of flight time, scale looks and watchers by others in the local park.Son got me one (P51) for 74th b-bay and flew mine so I got him this one (T28). He is virtual game savvy and took to it effortlessly flying circles around old grampa .I’ve read the reviews and frankly you can blow off the negatives. He/they probably had the skill level switch set backwards which is my only complaint. It is not intuitive but if you read the instructions, you realize it is backwards from the arrows on the transmitter. If it is a real problem, return it to Amazon or wherever you bought it.A heads up. The P51 came with the prop on the plane and a spare. The T28 came with 2 spares + 1. The props can and will break. They did 50 years ago. So, buy the plane and buy the package of 4 spare props (Amazon should offer it as an option). But hey? What do I know? I’m just an old guy who likes to have some pretty cheap fun and this did it for me.

Remarkable durability
I am a very new flyer and have crashed this model many times (hard!)-i am blown away by the ruggedness of the T-28. I've only broken 1 prop on one of my earliest crashes. The pop-off feature is a lifesaver. Actually very easy to learn to fly, with enough features/agility to still be tricky to learn. But a forgiving trainer as I moved up from a powered glider trainer. I love this little plane!

Paint fades easily
I was thrilled that I was able to get this plane within 1 day and it was ready to fly out of the box (after a quick charge)! However after having flown it for 2 days, I’ve learned a few things! It is super easy and fun to fly, great for beginners, however, the prop falls off very easily and is difficult to find. The front wheel was not very durable and actually fell off during flight never to be seen again!Another huge complaint is that after only handling it for 2 days the paint is completely flaking off and you’d think that I’ve had this thing for 10yrs not 2 days.
