Very well made keyboard... BUT
Beautiful, robust and solid, but not for me... too noisy, clicky and the backlighting is distracting (also the alpha/numericals on the keys are too small. Altogether (for me) an uncomfortable typing experience (especially on the ears)... irritating with too much 'play' in the keys... I'm reverting back to my trusted Logitech K740 (just need to do something about the 'sticky/degrading' wrist rest).

Lives up to the positive reviews
Its certainly a bit of a step up from my previous keyboard which in itself is not a bad keyboard. Things I notice straight away, its heavier and solidly planted on the desk, the keys feel quality, the action / sound is noticeably different with red keys compared to blue. I like the understated look, not too flashy. Things I did not warm too. Whilst the instructions are clear in respect of keycap changes if you using Windows (the keyboard comes set up for Apple) there was nothing in the instructions about which keycaps to replace to make it a UK keyboard (despite it being configured for the UK). I could not find the ampersand or the dash but I got there eventually and the correct keycaps were in the spare key cap collection. A good keycap removal tool is included. Also the cable is rather short, I have had to use an extension USB cable. Other than that I think its a well made, good quality, nice sized keyboard.

Ideal for numpad lovers
This makes an excellent keyboard for those of us who want a customisable layout with a numpad. Mine has brown switches, some of which I’ve moved around already to reduce the vibrating noise of some of the springs. The layout is easily changed with a json file from Keychron and the via website. Changing keys and switches is easy, though gently rock the switches to remove them. Forcibly pulling linearly might result in them flying. Might. I’d imagine. It feels great to type on, reminding me of the Toshiba MSX I mucked around with as a kid ( look that up). The lighting effects are pretty neat, with a heat map of keystrokes being my favourite.Bluetooth connection seems reliable and the battery last for weeks even with the lights on.

Poor connectivity, abysmal bettery life!
This Keychron K4 came highly recommended but it falls short in two key areas - 1. Bluetooth is rubbish. I need to use this without cable but the bluetooth connection constantly fails and can be laggy even for typing!2. The battery doesn't last more than a week at best - even with all the backlight turned offMy previous cheap Arteck keyboard would last months and never disconnected from wireless.Yes this is a nice keyboard to type on but the downsides make it difficult to live with. Need to use it cabled for it to work properly but I paid for a wireless keyboard!!
