Binocular Excellent - Carry bag not so
I purchased the SkyMaster Pro ED 7x50 version primarily for stargazing. I have never purchased a Celestron product before, nor an ED binocular though I have heard good things about them. The quality of this binocular is excellent for the price. The view through this binocular is nothing short of superb. In daylight the view is crystal clear and very bright, almost too bright. The image is razor sharp when focussed with almost no colour fringing. To my eyes the image seems even sharper than through a pair of Hawke 8x42 APO's I own. Comments made about the large eyepieces are accurate and I can see why they would be a problem for some non spectacle wearers. Fortunately I have to wear glasses all the time. Therefore this is not a problem for me. They are also quite heavy, so could be a problem for some with prolonged viewing. The only negative for me is the case, being not much more than a glorified carrier bag with next to no padding at all. But it's not worth knocking a star off for.

Superb quality 7x50 ED
Purchased on offer, yes I'm another collector just like you! Really nice build, solid and heavy but I don't mind that. Lovely optics let in loads of light and produce a pin sharp image. These will be great for astronomy geeks but I'm just looking at the birds when the sun's not cracking the flags.

Night sky comes to life
Great for night sky observing, durring the day time buzzards and raptors are easy to see at a good distance away, one thing to note for night time use a solid suppoet is needed to keep them still due to ther weight. Execellent detail and of most major objects in the sky, somting to do while taking pictures of the night sky with an astronomy setup.

Stunning binoculars.
Love these. Absolutely fantastic. However they are too heavy to handle so you will need to rest them on something. Even better get them the tripod they deserve.

IPD not correct! Renders useless
Said IPD min 56mm. I’m 62mm. This is incorrect as eyecups too big. Cannot get full field of view. Celestron needs to update this! Terrible! Cannot use them and have to return. Very disappointed!

Superb.
After loads of research and deliberation, I went for it. This is a spectacular set of bins for stargazing. As a new stargazer, these let me see the Pleiades cluster last night for the very first time. Emotional or what!! I’m going to have such fun with them. I’ll be using a tripod as they can be a bit heavy for a long session. Research already told me that. But wowzers. They will be brilliant for wildlife too. Did a test run on my way to work yesterday looking across towards the coast about 5 miles away. I could see the sandunes nice and clear. Just hope neighbours won’t think I’m a voyeur!!! Oh, had a quick response from tech support too to understand the ‘split’ in the loop on the lens covers. It’s for reason, not a fault. I’ll let you research why !!

Awesome binoculars
Great binoculars for Stargazing and Plane Spotting. Feels high quality, image is clear, HDR-like. Can easily spot satellites at night moving accross the sky. Highly recommend

Tripod mount doesn't fix left or right tilt of the binocular
The tripod mount fixes fine but the binoculars still tilt left and right so you cant get an accurate fix so with the slightest movement your out of shot
