Reasonable value with useful programmable features

Great for simply linking a master keyboard to several tone generators and a sequencer

I have two of these and they do a good job but be aware they are MIDI powered and I have found they do not work with either of my Alesis Q49 keyboards.

Just unbelievable small piece of equipment but honestly very helpful. I had problem with some midi exclusive data and with one switch easy to filtered.

Forget octave transposition (or two octaves, as the manual claims) - you can only go 11 semitones up or down. What on earth is the point of limiting the unit!?On top of that, the unit randomly hangs up, leaving ugly sustained notes playing - and, no, the 'panic' button doesn't work to clear them.The manual is badly translated and contradicts itself.The DIP switches are correctly marked, the legend next to them is backwards.So, my unit might be cheap junk and faulty - but nothing excuses the designed transpose limit.

Unfortunately only 3 of the 4 outs are functioning. Luckily I had a spare thru on one of my synths so still able to incorporate this into my set up. The ports that are working are fast and accurate. Such a shame as this would have been a easy 5/5 otherwise. Not worth the effort of shipping back to Germany.

I use this product with a Korg Minilogue, and it works grand. You can't switch off velocity in the MIDI signals in the Minilogue, but with this MIDI Thru box you can.I am less impressed with the build quality and a bit annoyed that the MIDI sockets are upside down, but otherwise this is a good bit of kit.

Gute Midi Box. Die Midi Buchsen sind ordentlich verarbeitet, die Funktion ist einwandfrei. Kann nicht meckern.
