Just buy them!
Update 12/6/2023 - I’ve been using these clamps for 3 months now for weekly deadlifting, squatting, etc. and they are still rock solid. My wife has cleaned up to 155 lbs with hers on the barbell and also had zero issues. They’ve been so great I’m ordering several additional pairs for my studio. — Original Review 9/5/2023 - tldr; These are easily worth double the price they’re being sold for. If you don’t buy them while they’re still under $20, you’re going to regret it. Are these collars perfect? No, but they’re so dang close, any “negatives” are strictly personal preference and are in no way a reflection of the overall value of the product. I purchased these for use in a commercial gym since mine only has the spring clamps, which are terrible and usually no where to be found. First, they work. I’ve now used these for a week of deadlifting, squatting, overhead pressing, and rowing (I don’t use collars when I bench). They never budged, even when deadlifting 400, 500, and 600 lbs. This is really the purpose of good collars, so as far as I’m concerned, everything else is largely inconsequential. But, there are still other benefits. I love how slim and low-profile these collars are. When your gym only has bumper plates and you’re stacking the bar with multiple on each side, bar sleeve space becomes a rare commodity. These collars make that limited bar space much less of an issue. Furthermore, the clamping mechanism works well and they’re easy to adjust when needed, e.g., if you’re using them for both standard and specialty barbells. I do wish there was a bit more tension on the twisting mechanism so that I wasn’t accidentally changing the circumference when unlocking the collars, but it’s not a major inconvenience and can often make swapping between a 2” standard barbell and 1.9” specialty barbell easier. I also like the rubber grip on the inside of the collars. Not only does it help prevent slippage, it does a great job protecting the barbell sleeves. Other than a more rigid tightening mechanism, the only other thing I’d like are more color options, especially pink. We’ll see how these collars hold up over time, but with a lifetime warranty, hopefully any problems are quickly resolved. Overall, I was so impressed, I ordered a second pair for my wife (though I thought the red I ordered for her looked a bit less polished compared to the black). Either way, I think these are well worth the space in your home gym or gym bag.

They really are adjustable - fit my slightly narrower bar sleeves
I have arthritis, so tight clamps on barbells and dumbbells are very painful for me to remove. Also my favorite pair of dumbbells has a slightly narrower sleeve width, so regular clamps aren't tight enough. I asked for recommendations, and a friend suggested these - the Iron Crush Olympic Barbell Clips - Adjustable & Slim Gym Clamps . Well, they work perfectly for me. I can put them on and remove them from any bar or handle without pain, they're still secure enough to hold on the plates, and they also fit my slimmer-sleeved dumbbell handles and open trap bar. To be honest, they feel a little flimsy, although many plastic collars do. I don't know how long they'll last, so I bought some more in case they fail. IN the meantime, they continue to work fine without breaking, opening or letting the weight plates move. These really helped with my lifting. If you have arthritis or other hand conditions, or if you're just tired of having to wrestle your collars off your bars, these are definitely worth a try. Would I recommend them for someone who does 400 pound deadlifts? Probably not. But for the rest of us, these are good.

Great Value and Does Its Job!
Used this for deadlifts and squats. It's super easy to use, it holds the weights on the bar and keeps from moving around. Love the color choices (I got pink). It also has these little adjustable screw to tighten if it gets too loose. I liked it so much that I purchased this as a gift for one of my gym buddies.

These work well and cure the loose plates
Previously had another brand clamp for my Olympic bar and those clamps would allow creep on the bar so that my plates would loosen and start moving side to side. With this set of clamps, I fitted them, tightened down the lever, repeat, until I got the desired hold without over stressing the clamps. Now, changing plates is easy. Flip open the lever and slide off. Clamping the weights down, simple, slide the plates on, slide the clamps on and close the lever. Also like that these are lower profile than most clamps. Not had an issue with them getting loose and letting the plates move around. Definitely a good buy for me!

Great product
Been using for 6 months about 5 days a week with no issue. There is no need to apply extreme pressure when locking as it isn't needed if the bar and the rubber sections of clamps are clean. Less pressure/force will ensure longevity of product. I have had zero issues with hinge like others have found.

Bike inspired quick releases
Works great on adjustable dumbbells I have. Allows you to dial in the tightness and these really stay put much better than the quick clamps without the ability to tighten. Once it's dialed in, it's fast to clock and reapply. Seems very durable as well.
