I'd buy again
Amazing knife, super light and feels great in the hands

Excellent without breaking the bank
Just what I was looking for: a light, well balanced chef knife of high quality stain resistant steel that will hold an edge and not cost an arm or leg. . As I am new to the Japanese style 70/30 edge, I was a bit disappointed that the technical information was all in Japanese. However, there is an abundance of information on the web on both the brand and sharpening instructions. The more I read and the more I use the knife, the more I am convinced I made the very best choice for my purposes.

Legit Misono at a great price
I was skeptical when ordering, but this arrived in a real box, the knife is super sharp, and lightweight. Recommend it 100% It usually retails for $140. I got for 109. Do it

I really like this knife. It is more lightweight than I am used, but that isn't bad. Very sharp and keeps an edge.

Nice and light... -Perfect knife for delicate prep. -Cuts sushi rolls beautifully. -Fans avocados soooo..... Good! -It sharpens up to a straight razor edge. (No knife is 100% sharpen out of the box "wet stones") This is NOT a heavy work knife at all.

Absolutely beautiful knife!
I've mostly used German steel knives up until now, which are thicker and heavier, and I wanted to try something new. This knife was recommended to me by a friend who is a professional cook. It's lighter, thinner but still sturdy, and well-balanced. It glides through everything I've put it up against and keeps an edge well. Just use a honing steel once or twice a week and you probably won't have to even touch a stone for a long time. I think I may be a Japanese steel convert.
