Fun little thing
Fun little thing. Easy to use, once you've built cgminer or bfgminer, and you can adjust the voltage to get the best performance out of it. Just don't expect to make any money! Gekkoscience's own FAQ says that you're unlikely to break even: it's really just for fun and education. If you're curious about Bitcoin from a technical viewpoint, and didn't get involved back when mining was still a realistic prospect for someone without deep pockets, this provides you with a cheap way to see for yourself how ASIC-based mining works, and as long as you go into it with your eyes open, you won't be disappointed. Just bear in mind that once you've exhausted the tinkering potential of the device, you'll stick it in a drawer and never use it again.

Good device
Plug and play with BFGMiner 5.4.0 Emulates as a CGminer u3 on a U2 built CGminer but its a bit iffy, heatsink could of been bigger even idle it was warm to the touch best to have these on active cooling, mine is currently running at 10Gh/s on active cooling

Great USB stick for mining bitcoins
Great USB stick for mining bitcoins. A powered hub and "Y" splitter cables are a must as these draw more than a single USB port can handle if you crank up the frequency and voltage.

Easily outperforms my 2gig miners
Easily outperforms my 2gig miners. Bit tricky setting up but working well now on Win 10 using cgminer 4.9.2 customised by cgminer_gekko_win32 software..Not overclocked yet 8gig to 9gig. Well pleased.
