Cleaner works great. But the brush. Yes even though it’s a soft boar brush. To much pressure on the hat will mess up the the material in the hat. I’d get a much softer brush to use in the hats and brush in the direction of the threading. Or even a small soft tooth brush or take an microfiber towel dab it in water with the solution and rub gently on the hat. The solution runs out to quickly. Other than that good product.

This stuff really works. My favorite hat is, of all colors, white... and it's a one-of-a-kind, I can't just buy another. I noticed it had really discolored with time, and through two treatments with this stuff, it's back to being white again! I will say this, the instructions say you don't need water, but water really helps with the rinsing process and getting the dirt out. That said, know your hat's material and make sure you don't ruin your hat bill if you decide to soak it (monitor the drying process so it doesn't lose its shape). Also, be GENTLE with the included boar's hair brush. If you put much force into the scrubbing, you can damage your hat stitching and fray the material.

Great gift for my husband, no complaints

Used it to clean an Indiana Jones style hat, but kept on having stain marks when it dried. Still working on fixing that. The brush is helpful at removing most marks on my hats, with spot wiping with water able to remove most spots. I've also used it on other full brim hats with sweabands that aren't sewn at the top to clean the sweatband.

I have a 30+ year old Stetson felt hat that I took to the cleaners twice with no appreciable results and had pretty much given up on ever getting it clean again. I was going to buy a new one, but of course now they’re close to $200 so in desperation I bought this product. I used it right away and was surprised at how great the results were. it was easy to use and the two or three worst spots on my hat are just about like new again and it looks great. It came fast and it was very easy to use.

Recommend… It’s worth the price. The size is good. I just used 4 pumps for one cap. the product cleaning power is really good this isn’t diluted at all it will last a long time . A little goes a long way It does work and gets rid of odors.

It works. I'm bald. I wear hats constantly. Some of my hats get quite oily and have sweat marks. This did a great job reducing the sweat marks, and generally making the material look new again. I'm buying more.... I've used this first one up in one day. That might be the only thing to note that this kit comes with a fairly small bottle of cleaner.... there are larger ones without the brush. The brush works well, but you may already have a good one for this.
