Andrew James Mini Pancake Raclette Attachment (Stone Raclette)

I am very pleased with this raclette machine. My previous one did not have a grill element on the top and I was somewhat sceptical about this — I am more of a traditionalist when it comes to Raclette and could never see the point of grilling meat at the same time — Raclette is meant to be cheese with potatoes and viande séchée. I am happy to say that I was positively surprised with this machine and used the top to grill slices of peppers and mushrooms. The adjustable heat function was helpful as well. Planning to use this outside in the summer!

Well packed, arrived on time. This raclette machine is amazing. I have used it today and I’m very pleased. It get hot quick and you don’t need to wait too much to get your cheese melt. I also really appreciate the colored dots on the pans, which is allowed us to know which is your pan. I highly recommend it.Ps: This is a Uk plug for your information.

The stone raclette is really good. I had some defects with the stone, the manufacturer directed me back to Amazon when I contacted them and ask them if this is normal. Because I could not find out if it was, I reordered a new one in case it was a one-off. Unfortunately, the new one was even worse so I kept the existing one and sent the new one back.Do not expect the stone to be perfect, I guess it is a natural product so to be expected some extent.The pans are tiny, although there would be a bit of fun if you did some mushrooms and other small things.Overall great fun and reasonable value for money.

Very well made and sturdy, worked really well. Would definitely recommend. The raclette we used on holiday was very wobbly and therefore quite dangerous. We cooked duck, steak, chicken, prawns and scallops on the top stone and used the pans to melt the cheese and re-warm onions, peppers and mushrooms - brilliant! This appliance will not be going in the back of the cupboard never to be used again, it will be used regularly. Love it!

Excellent. Raclette is very popular in France where I now live and the raclettes available here were expensive and looked flimsy. I chose this Andrew James one and have had 5 raclette meals with friends here and everyone was impressed with it. I am so glad I bought it, I’m sure it will get even more use in the summer and it’s solid construction means it will last for years

This is not my first raclette and I like the size and the 2 different tops. I don't like the short lead - it barely reaches the edge of the table before I need the extension cable.

Bought as a gift bit have one myself which I love! Great fo home steak night. Cook it as you like it on the stone and is always warm, even if rare.

This is a gift for my partner for Christmas, so I haven't had a chance to use it yet, so will update the review when we have. Unboxing it to check it over everything looks good, but I've knocked a star off because the box had become damaged during delivery.I've had numerous problems with DPD, and it's unfortunate that this continues to happen. It's disappointing because it's a gift, but also because I was worried it might mean parts had been damaged during transport. I hope this hasn't affected the product itself (although luckily after a quick surface check it doesn't look like it).
