I don’t like the lack of some key buttons that are on most remotes. It’s good for the money though, easy to use, small, seems durable enough.

This remote is not even worth the price if it was $1. Do not waste your time. Just buy the official Google remote from the Google store. This remote doesn't come with batteries, the lag is about 10 seconds. So when you click a button it doesn't do anything until 10 seconds later and sometimes it even double clicks. I couldn't stand it for even minute. The buttons are also extremely cheap and the battery cover doesn't fit properly. Don't be fooled by this product. The official Google remote is $20 but it comes with batteries and works perfectly

It took me less than 5 minutes to pair this one to my Chromecast with Google TV. Most of that time was spent digging out a couple of AAA batteries. The battery cover slides off easily, unlike the one on the original remote. The Chromecast's menu to pair is quite easy and explains exactly what buttons to press. (I used my phone's Google Home app that had been previously paired to navigate to the pairing menu.)

The pink one my son used refused to connect and came here for quick and cheapest option.I've had a few connection issues here and there when it will stop working and that only other thing is the buttons won't recognize basic push😄 and now to select anytime or go anywhere, there's a wait delay before the next but, it still works and beats the one actually other 2 on my phone!

This product was defective . The scroll up/down disk on the unit scrolls up rapidly without any finger pressure. It's a guess if you're actually going to land on your intended program. It actually makes a snapping sound. IMHO this product is a waste of money.

Where to begin? first the remote inconsistently connects and disconnects with the Chromecast with Google TV device. Secondly, the original remote had no trouble controlling my TV power on and volume as well as input. This one has trouble with the input and the volume control. When it does connect to the device at least I can control the up down left right. Also, the Chromecast device says that the remote has update to it but fails to every time to update. Which may explain why it won't work with my TV correctly. My TV is a modern 55-in Toshiba 4k. I am tempted to return it. And simply go out and buy a whole new Chromecast with Google TV. 4K just so I can get a new fully functional remote.

After a couple of weeks, buttons started to not function properly, to the point now that the Up button has to be pressed so hard that it sometimes registers a different function, like going Left on the menu instead of UpNot worth it.. even at the cheap price it is being sold at.
