It seemed like a good keyboard for the money* Mouse is great.
Can not beat this keyboard and mouse combo deal for the price!-- Keyboard: Key action is medium weighted, with the standard membrane feel. The spacebar on mine rattles just a little bit, but it does work perfectly. No missed keystrokes! ***** EDIT ***** It *(seemed like)* a good keyboard for the money. It was a good keyboard for about 2 days*. The (A) key suddenly stopped working, or worked sporadically. I have ordered a key puller so I can service my Matias Quiet Key Pro; the switches gummed due to humidity. Back into service it went last night due to the early failure of the Kensington. By the way, No Liquids were Spilled at all. No abuse, nothing to cause the failure.-- Mouse: It is a 3 button mouse that fits my hand nicely. I am 6' 1", and it seems some mice have shrank, while others are a big. Finding a mouse that is what I used to call normal sized seems a lot harder that it used to be. This mouse Just-Works! No excuses, no drama, this mouse does what a mouse is supposed to. I actually bought this keyboard and mouse combo because, for the price, I was getting the keyboard (which I knew nothing about) almost for free. I would say I now have a spare mouse, but my 10 y.o. daughter claimed it! Oh well, I will put her old Dell mouse away as a backup. ** Addendum ** The mouse is still working perfectly.

I purchased this set because it is the same brand as those supplied at my workplace and I've had good experience with Kensington
Forget about the wireless mouse and keyboard. They never worked for me. I did not want to believe this when a few months ago I started replacing my worn-out keyboard/mouse with a wireless set from costco. The wireless set again failed to impress me so I turned to amazon and found this set. I purchased this set because it is the same brand as those supplied at my workplace and I've had good experience with Kensington.I have very small hand, the size and shape of the mouse feels like designed for my hand, so comfortable and sleek. The keyboard is simple, neat. Every stroke is crisp yet gentle. At only 1/3 of the cost of wireless set, this one has performed exact functions from the day one I hooked it up. Based on my experience with wireless mouse/keyboard, none has performed as good as a wired set. Highly recommend this set, I bought it at around 19, at its current price of only $13, absolutely a worthy product.

Solid Stuff
But not exceptional. Certainly a good deal for the price though!

Very nice keyboard and mouse combo
This is a very basic but straight forward combo. I like the key action on the keyboard. The mouse is a bit on the light side. It could use some add weight to give it a more solid feel but it works well. The mouse needed to be on a mouse pad too for it to function without a skipping on the screen. All in all for the price I'm pretty pleased with what I got. If you want a basic, good, straight forward keyboard and mouse combo then I would recommend this product.

Easiest keyboard to type accurately on for me
We buy these keyboards at work so I had been using this at work but now I'm working from home. I had bought a backlit keyboard so I could see the keyboard when it's dark at my computer but I just wasn't able to type accurately on it. I couldn't get used to the touch of the keyboard. This Kensington keyboard has a much better touch so I ended up ditching my pretty backlit keyboard and buying this Kensington set to use at home. Microsoft keyboards are also pretty good but I think this Kensington has the best touch of any keyboard I've tried.

Can't beat it for the money
Bought this almost 3 years ago and I use it just about every day. Still clicking along. Be careful with the little legs on the keyboard, had one pop off.

Large change in quality/feel
I purchased my first of these in 2019 and really enjoyed the layout, typing feel (somewhat firm so you know you actually pressed a key, but not actually difficult to press). Lasted just over 5 years, and decided to purchase another. The new keyboard has the same model and part #, but is an entirely different feel - much shorter keys, very light touch, and even the lights (numlock, etc) are different - wider. They keyboard as a whole is significantly lighter. That could be a plus for some, but I enjoy having a bit more bulk so it doesn't fly around so easily. I hesitate to call it flimsy after just getting it, but it is an inch shorter, and perhaps half an inch smaller width.Overall it seems like a satisfactory keyboard, but it deserves to be sold as a different keyboard than the one I purchased previously given how different it is.

Good bang for your buck.
Great price for a full-sized keyboard and mouse. The mouse is comfortable feeling and the scroll wheel clicks in noticeable segments rather than smooth rolling (which I enjoy as this makes pressing the mouse wheel down easier). Apparently the keyboard is spill proof but I haven't tested this.Tracking on the mouse is OKAY. It works well for every day use and light gaming. May want to get a higher DPI mouse if you're really into FPS games.Overall this package is very standard but it doesn't seem to be low quality. The mouse and keyboard presses are a little louder than other keyboards I have but whatever -- it was only $15.
